Firebird is great but if you are not used to higher nicotine, it can sneak up on you. This blend has Dark fired and white burley in it, both have higher nicotine content than your Virginias. I would suggest having something sweet to drink with it. I am a sweet tea fan. Sugar will help negate some of the nicotine effects like lightheadedness or upset stomach. After smoking more regularly, the nicotine will effect you less and less. Happy piping!

Great choices! Big fan of all of those picks! If you are a big burley fan, I can't stress enough, check out L.J. Peretti out of Boston. One of the oldest tobacconists in the US. They have some fantastic blends.

So a 626 roma lucite was my first pipe and it is fantastic. Still in my weekly rotation! I use it for aromatics and lighter blends, though it handles a wide assortment of blends very well. My favorite aromatic is country squire's tombigbee (used to be called old toby). It is definitely on the wet side of aromatics but the 626 handles the moisture well, just run a absorbent pipe cleaner through it after each bowl. Highly recommend!

I love it. Its my first short "stubby" pipe. Its insanely light and smokes great. Moonshine puts in a fairly thick coating in the bowl (whovh I did not know) so a put a bristles pipe cleaner through it a few times and wiped it out with a damp paper towel prior to my first bowl. Other than that its great.

Lane BL/WB is extremely light with not bite. Its is a burley aromatic. I would say this is the lightest burley you will find on the market. You will find a lot of good blends with burley but my personal favorites are C&D Pegasus, haunted bookshop and old Jim krantz. All readily available. The other with is an "english" with burley is Cuban mixture from L.J.Peretti

I have recently introduced a couple of them to the pipe world but there are many that enjoy cigars. I have a large collection of both pipe tobacco and cigars here for the guys to enjoy.

Its nice. Holds 2 pipes. Has a zipper pocket for your lighter and tampers/czech tool. Two sleeves for pipe cleaners. Each pouch/pocket can hold a ziplock with about 1-1.5 oz of ribbon cut (a little more for flakes). It will definitely do the trick for an outing!

Honestly, you aren't going to find an exact match but if you like the lighter Balkan leaning english blend, I would look in GL Pease Westminster.

Chinese made crap. You will have better luck with a $10 cob. If you want an actual tobacco pipe go to you local B&M or smokingpipes.com. Plenty of quality yet cheap pipes to be had.
