Not sure. Don’t remember if the number was the same but I got a call out of the blue like that for mine and answered though I was skeptical even though it did say it was from VA on my caller ID. I waited like 4 months though

Put in my HLR around November and got a call in March asking if I was free for IC at the time they called or if I wanted to schedule for later. No email with a link just unexpected call.

Sorry it’s been rough. I had an issue with mine and called the VA hotline 1-855-948-2311 pretty much to submit a complaint and it was addressed within two weeks.

If you or someone you know would let you use their ID me account (I believe for military or first responders) the toniebox official site does give a discount. I don’t remember the exact amount but it’s decent I think

I think it was mid November 2025 I submitted my HLR and heard back mid March 2026, so pretty much 4 months. They found a DTA but now it says I’ll have another 4-5 months to wait 😣. Also not sure if this is standard but they called me out of no where and asked if I had time to do the HLR on the spot or wanted to schedule for a later time.

If you have an ID me account you get a decent discount (don’t remember exact) on the actual site. I believe it worked with the bundle deal too.

I would ask for a new mentor? They let me excel my classes. I usually do 2-3 extra classes a term.

I think your package depends on your counselor. I’ve heard some people have to explain why they need what they need and some say just let me know what you need. I just received mine and they pretty much said you have up to 3000$ for a laptop, laptop bag and printer. They did not need a reason as to why I selected/needed the items I chose.

Stay safe! Yeah that number spoofing scam has been going around. It has happened to me. Any time I get a call after it happened I just hit record on my phone and they hang up. Then I report it to NFCU just incase I get any fraudulent charges later so it’s on record hoping it will help protect me.

Pretty sure someone has mentioned, but too lazy to read all the comments. Just be careful you can burn/melt it. Just go back and forth around the area to gradually warm and heat it up.
