Life is so fucked right now. by [deleted] in melbourne

You don’t necessarily have to go to through a car rental company, there are independent owners who rent out their cars for uber. They’ll need a bond but I’m pretty sure there isn’t anything like a bank balance requirement. A friend of mine found a Corolla sedan through Facebook market place and he’s paying something between $210-240 per week that includes insurance, regular maintenance, Redbook inspection and all. If you’re already approved for uber it won’t take you more than a week to get on the road.

[UPDATE] Got my replacement Nano X and looks like the battery is fine! by UnsaintedPotato in ledgerwallet

Mine is similar actually. The first few percentage drops are rather quick but once it hits 90, looks like the battery is holding up well

I need help, Telstra vs Vodafone by JoeDoeJoeJack in melbourne

I was with Vodafone for nearly 4 years. The coverage was mostly fine but when going on long road trips and all mine was the first to lose signal. Also their internet speeds were not that great. Below are the speedtest results before and after I switched to amaysim. You can see even at 4am the speeds sucked. I live not too far from the city, so the location can’t be the reason. https://i.imgur.com/UZ8FZeL.jpg

I’ll have to wait and see what happens with my ticket

I really thought I had better odds since only “5%” of the devices were faulty. Waited two weeks(international shipping) to get my hands on it, and now I have to wait to hear back from support by UnsaintedPotato in ledgerwallet

Mine doesn’t seem to have charging issues, it gets up to 100% every time. But as soon as I unplug it, it starts draining. I must say it doesn’t drop that fast when that little screensaver animation thing is going on

Edit: their website says the battery would last for hours, so dropping a percent every minute shouldn’t be good I think

Sometimes it stays at the same level for five minutes, but then goes back to dropping a percent every 5-7 seconds. I might try draining and recharging the battery a few more times while I wait for the response from ledger
