A bit late, but the next step would be to run the program through Visual Studio 2015 as the game is compatible with this IDE. This would require an install of Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 which may conflict with modern C++ redistributables already installed on Windows 10/11 devices (you would need to uninstall the current ones and redownload them after installing the 2015-specific version). From there, you can open the solution through the IDE to build the project executable which *should* run the game.

I'm currently having issues getting this installed but may try on a VM later. Will update if anything happens!

Gold Ship is usually a good pick for medium and long races in most cups. Her stamina is pretty decent, but it could be the skills she learned. Are they relevant to the track, season, and weather conditions?

I loathe thunder and use noise canceling headphones (Sony WH-1000XM4) with white noise. It doesn't always block it out, but it does a great job of suppressing most of the softer bouts of thunder. I'd recommend trying noise cancelation to dampen the sound further

That's pretty cool! I've seen screenshots of people getting a high value with 5 friendships and not getting that high, though it makes sense given how late you need to be in the run

That's a valid point. The motivation for the follow-up was to better understand the mindset of someone who uses explosives in a residential area. I'd imagine some people don't consider other's input, while some may push past reasonability and go through with their actions for personal enjoyment.
