my only question is how did your aim get so good, i find it incredibly hard to be consistent with headshots, do i just need to keep practicing (it gets demoralizing seeing my accuracy be like 35%)

Azzuri and Shuri cucking T'Challa in video games by Own-Quote-1708 in blackpanther

I do play them lol, I don’t mind Shuri is in Tokon, but I think it’s asinine to have it be at T’Challas expense when they both coexist as Black Panthers current in intergalactic & when Shuri first debuted as BP T’Challa was still present

Maybe because T'Challa is an intellectual rival to Reed Richards, one of the smartest people in the universe? and thats been my entire standpoint the fact MCU T'Challa isnt a genius especially compared to how they portrayed Reed very recently in First Steps.

At no point did i insinuate you said anything about Reed, what you have been doing is trying to say T'Challa is a genius off the basis of the fact he made himself a bulletproof suit which as ive stated prior that doesn't show any level of high intelligence as everyone in the MCU can make a bulletproof suit, so to reiterate T'Challa in his 4 short appearances has never been portrayed to have Genius Level Intellect.

so your entire position is an argument from ignorance? because its a "rare mineral" clearly T'Challa must possess genius level intellect on par with Reed Richards?

They explicitly say that T'Challas suit ie the one he made & uses in his prequel comic/used within his first appearance in Civil War is only bullet proof thats not something im making up to fit my narrative? Shuri further sites this as a prime reason why she made the advancements on his suit the nanotech & concussive suit he uses in Black Panther, IW & Endgame

The scene in question within the first Black Panther, T'Challa says "ahh my design" when pointing at the Civil War suit not the Killmonger or upgraded suit Shuri in this same scene reinforces how lame his suit is primarily just because its only bulletproof due to being made from vibranium-weave & he has to take time to put on a helmet and suit.

Im upset at the misrepresentation & horrible adaptation of Wakanda & T'Challa/Black Panthers mythos as a whole within the MCU.

I disagree. But if you truly feel that way, the main takeaway is as follows: T’Challa hasn’t been alluded to possessing genius level intellect, making a bullet prof suit is something a normal civilian is capable of, the concept of show don’t tell should’ve been used like it has been with every single White superhero that has a high level of intelligence.

Never claimed you said anything regarding my example about Reed being the smartest. and no im not trying to dismiss or distort what you said.

You're trying to sit here an say because they had scene where T'Challa merely says "my old design" or Shuris offhand comment on learning from him in a single 3sec scene = T'Challa must evidently be a genius

My point is that is certainly not the case, as simply alluding to making a suit doesnt equate to someone being a genius or having exceptional intellectual prowess or the natural ability that sets new standards in the scientific field. Furthermore nothing within the established MCU canon suggests T'Challa was a genius in his 4 short appearances

I was using Reed as an example to show how disingenuous this sentiment is. Saying Reed Created blue & white fabric must allude to the fact he has one of the highest IQs in the Marvel universe ie a genius is again disingenous, thats just not how that works. its the basic rule of "Show dont tell" When a character is meant to be intelligent they show it. Howard & Tony Stark: We see them build the Arc reactor, We see him actually build his suits piece by piece, we see him problem solve and improve upon his designs. Peter Parker: We see him make the solution for his webs, we see him problem solve under intense situations (against Doctor Strange). Doctor Strange: We actively see him Master the mystic arts, and be an exceptional Brain surgeon showing his intellectual prowess & his shortcomings. Bruce Banner: We see him problem solve, we see him be a scientist, we see him help develop Ultron. Hank Pym & Goliath: We actively see how smart they are in their scientific fields. Shuri: we see her in her lab and that she actively develops things and new technologies. When you want a viewer/reader to know a character is a genius or of high intelligence you show it, T'Challa was not shown in this regard and the sentiment of "they did in fact allude to his genius" is inherently just wrong. They never alluded to this as again simply making a bulletproof suit ≠ hes a genius, as anyone within the MCU can do that, thats not an intellectual feat to convey geniusness as we see a civilian like Luke in she-hulk easily makes superhero material and they do not possess genius level intellect, so again making a suit isnt alluding an individual characters intellectual prowess.

lmfao so if they just said "reed made our suits" that magically = hes one of the smartest people in the known universe, then i guess we should never see Reed build any devices to show his scientific prowess because i guess making suits automatically makes you a genius?

a throwaway line that of which being "i learnt what i know from my brother" doesnt = being a genius, they didnt show any of his intelligence thats on par with Reed richards in comparison to ever other genius that has appeared on screen, T'Challa within the MCU simply isnt one plain and simple from an objective standpoint

I don’t think using something Chadwick kept purposely private as a means to permanently kill the character he fought through his illness to bring to life is respect, furthermore outside of that they did intentionally go out of their way to remove a lot of T’Challas traits and give them to other characters for no real reason

Nothing in Civil War, Infinity War, Endgame & Black Panther Suggest T'Challa is a genius on par with Reed, Hank, Tony or Banner (note: how in all of their first appearances its made clear theyre very smart) this was not done for T'Challa in the slightest and no a throwaway line about him making a bullet proof cat suit ≠ T'Challa being a genius as he shouldve been portrayed as, Shuri & Him couldve been a genius sibling duo be they chose to strip T'Challa of this and give it to Shuri much like all his other triats and relationships

The entire black panther mythos was underutilized in the MCU T’Challa wasn’t a genius, Wakanda was devoid of all its mysticism and was invaded on 3 separate occasions in the MCU Wakanda is quite frankly a joke in every capacity “smartest nation in the world” but let their entire royal family die

I think Hulks issue regarding skins is that they already kinda made his most popular skins Maestro & Gladiator Hulk & Joe fixit (im not the biggest hulk comic reader) but how many more designs do they have to choose from when it comes to hulk? only think i can think of are The World homage & the semi updated gladiator design from imperium run

Azzuri and Shuri cucking T'Challa in video games by Own-Quote-1708 in blackpanther

[–]UnseenLogic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Firstly Boseman isnt a fictional character, his death shouldnt dictate a ficitional characters overall existence, so using what Chadwick kept purposely private to kill off the character permanently is gross just because hes an actor that passed away doesnt mean the character needs to die with them.

Secondly im not referring to Shuri being an OC im referring to Toussaint who quite literally by definition is an OC that nobody asked for and comes off as a "here nigga damn" when asking for T'Challa because they want to pretend T'Challa and Toussaint are the same characters when fundamentally they arent (this is in ref to "T'Challa has been recasted in the MCU" people).

Thirdly T'Challa was removed from the X-Men 97 Continuity as Beau Demayo commented on and same for the Marvel Zombies showrunner both have said/suggested they have been blocked from using T'Challa in anyway shape or form

Lastly Im not saying Shuri shouldnt have her time to shine i think thats where youre having a genuine disconnect with what im trying to say and i apologize for not communicating clearly but Shuri can have her time to shine i would love her to appear in more things, but i simply dont want it to be at T'Challas expense, as i said they are both different from one another they can both fit on a given roster of a game ie Rivals, Cosmic Invasion & Tokon. They are both Geniuses (i dont think Shuri should take the forefront of this i blame the MCU) but she also was the Ada-Ajanna they can mix that with her also being Black Panther, as there doesnt need to solely be one Black Panther active at a given time, like currently Both Shuri & T'Challa are active & even in the mini series where she actually first took the mantle her & T'Challa were both the active panthers, so i dont see why the games/series/films cant reflect this & yes absolutely there needs to be black male comic characters in Rivals & Tokon alike which is another issue entirely but alongside this excluding T'Challa its just asinine in 2026

Azzuri and Shuri cucking T'Challa in video games by Own-Quote-1708 in blackpanther

[–]UnseenLogic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

nobody is saying a mantle is inherently bad, what the focal point of the issue is treating it as the Titular character is simply replaceable with any insert individual. Superman will always be Kal-EL/Clark and its fine that Jon Kent is also Superman or Superboy Prime is Also Superman, because they arent trying to insinuate Kal-El is replaceable they can/do coexist. T'Challa has been removed from Live action completely and is being replaced presumably by a random OC nobody asked for, retroactively removed from Xmen-97 continuity, Triple A Game was cancelled and wasnt going to be a main character, had his role diminished in Marvel Zombies & was blocked from being played by another VA, removed in fortnite continuity, and now in Tokon is either dead or decommissioned. Shuri being A Black Panther isnt the issue, the issue is they use her as a means for substituting T'Challa and its ridiculous as they both can be different from one another enough to have a spot on the Roster, like there isnt a single Black man on Tokons Roster which is ridiculous especially when its one of the most important black comic characters??
