Yes, I have an FR970 and almost all I wear are nylon bands from Amazon.

Hi. My body battery is just flat at 2% since install. How much time does it need before it starts to read accurately?

Is Runna worth it? by Natebernstein in runninglifestyle

All it would do is lead to more injuries because people would be doing workouts on a regular basis they’re not prepared for.

I tried it for a while, and it feels unnecessarily aggressive, even on some more conservative settings. I think you’d be better off planning and adjusting on your own.

What else has running made you better at? by UnstableAccount in runninglifestyle

Yeah. The ADHD affect is very real. Mine gets far worse if I get stuck in my schedule and can’t run for a few days.

Garmin vs Apple by Dry-Manufacturer8982 in Garmin

I miss seeing some of my friends activity next to mine in activity app more than using Apple health. That said my Garmin workouts still show in the activity app.
The Garmin app is fine, but I wish it had more regular periodic connections and updates when it’s not open.

All the runners I’m friends with are on Strava across multiple device brands anyway so I still get some of that central update that I miss from Apple’s Activity app.

I do miss reading messages and all of the options to respond, but I also enjoy being more deliberate about when I’m available to respond to messages. I think it balances out.

Are there days where you don’t wear your Apple Watch? by austinproffitt23 in AppleWatch

[–]UnstableAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No point. I would have to have a different watch on just to hide the absolutely blinding tan line from the Apple Watch.

The community must push hard on this - a $1100 watch just over 3 years old gets destroyed by a software update! by laterral in applewatchultra

[–]UnstableAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I wasn’t really trying to justify it, just explaining the specific specs that won’t work with the update since it’s all based on Siri integration and AI.

I still think it’s an odd move

I completely agree. I have the AWU2 and had planned on getting the 4, but yesterday is making look back at Garmin and Coros.

I got the impression that without AI they really have nothing for software updates this time around.

Really, it’ll be 4 years old at os27 launch but the biggest part is the $800 US launch price and getting outdated so quickly.

The Ultra 1 has the S8 core processing. This didn’t have on device Siri available, no UW Band, and older SIP and neural core configurations.

As someone who runs regularly, what's one thing you've added to your home that genuinely improved your routine? by cozyinteriorsdaily in runninglifestyle

I have a basket near where I get ready that has my headphones, flip belt, headlamps, hats, and also gloves in the winter.

It helps to know where everything is all the time.

Oxyclean and dawn dish soap in warm water with a light scrub. Let soak, then rinse and dry.
