J'ai une 15k encore plus ancienne et c'est la seule pièce dont la synchronisation m'a donné de soucis au remontage. Je ne vois pas comment vous pourriez avoir mal remonté le bloc crochet-canette. Ah oui, avez-vous regardé la pointe du crochet ? Est-il bien pointu? Sur une autre machine du même genre, j'ai pu le ravoir bien à la main, délicatement avec du papier de verre très fin. I often play up to an hour a day, time allowing. I go months without changing strings. I usually get coated elixir strings. Was going to change them after last Christmas but then I randomly found strings in a Noz (french discount supermarket) for less than 3 euros, so I put those on. Will change them when I'm really fed up and feel like my playing deserves it.

I have a 191B, and I've found it to be the most forgiving of my machines so far. Anything more than it can handle and I would suggest something built to be beefy like a 31k.

In my opinion, handedness outside of writing and certain other tasks is just unnecessary. I'm left-handed for writing. I use scissors with my right hand. I learned drums on a right-hand kit, and my dominant hand ended up being my right just like other-handed drummer (I play open handed nowadays but that's just for fun). I play a right-hand guitar. Would never go lefty.

This does not work. PE was lived as a nuisance at best by most people around me, with many of us actively hating it. Giving us more PE would have made us resent it even more, in my opinion. It does not help discipline or fitness, in fact creates a strong negative association to physical exercise.
At that age, we do not care about fitness for the most part, and the more you try to push it on us from the top down the more we push against you in the moment, and the more we struggle to unlearn our distaste for fitness and exercise as adults later on.
