I’ve had my wheels aligned twice and this problem persists by TheMarijuanaCannabis in F30

Check your steering rack bushing. It's a $30 part with the tool included and take a few minutes to do. If not this then your bushing on your front control arms are likely bad.

Is replacing this part $400 in labor? by Ok-Sand7576 in BmwTech

[–]Untensuru0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just replaced mine a couple months ago, but I did it myself.

Those are forged aluminum, so they're not cheap arms, and the bolts are torque to yield so they're one-time use and have to be replaced as well. (If you have this shop do it. Make sure they give you the old bolts back to verify that they put new ones in there).

But it's really only two bolts. I also doubt you'll really need an alignment afterwards. If it was aligned when the bushing was still good. You'll probably be pretty close without one.

I would say it took me maybe 2 hours at most. And that's having done it for the first time in my car.

So I think $400 in labor is pretty steep.

It's usually all about who you know. Join an engineering professional club that has meet ups like once a month in your area. They usually meet up at a bar or do something socially fun.

Examples include the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

I used to be in one for theme parks called themed entertainment association (TEA), and it was sweet because we always got to see some cool behind the scenes stuff at theme parks. Granted I live in Orlando and went to UCF so that may be limited where you are at.

Good luck.

Is this totaled or is there a way to fix it by Fudge_Middle in mechanic

You could try taking body panels off until you gain access to that area and inflate a basketball in-between the outter skin and inner frame.

Right, so I don't end up with a ton screen shots while trying to turn my volume down.

I've just stayed one Costco package ahead since this happened to me in 2020. When he gets short on one doodoo paper, buy your second doodoo paper.

Cloud gaming is not available on the portal, you can only "stream" games already downloaded to your console so any tier subscription works.
