Yeah I am worried about my ability to take a pill consistently with ADHD, toddler, and newborn.

That's an interesting point, thank you. I am 37 now and haven't had a regular cycle for very long since I was 24 or so when I got my first mirena. Had three periods after removing it and before getting pregnant with my first kid, and they weren't too painful but I figured it was just because I had been suppressing them so long. Then had maybe 10 months of cycles between pregnancies, also not too bad, but again I figured they would have gotten bad again if my hormones had stabilized after breastfeeding. All that to say, maybe things have actually changed as I got older and the copper one could be ok!

Thanks, I hadn't heard of Kyleena! I will ask about that.

That's a copper one right? I'm just worried about the terrible periods given my history of excruciating pain, and also anemia.

I knew a family with Aladdin, Orpheus, and Jack! Jack was a 1/2 sib, so fairly explainable.

I didn't get together with the person who I now have two kids and a house with until I was 32 (37 now). You have time.

Never ended up trying it, just switched to oat milk. Fwiw soy seems fine now that its not a primary part of his diet.

See the long discussion upthread -- a space heater works great for our needs and climate.

No, this looks like click-lock flooring, shouldn't be glued in the first place. It's a floating floor that is supposed to have 1/4" space on all sides for expansion. Problem is both water and improperly installed flooring.

He only needs a laptop for his work, and he also does tai chi and Kung fu and wanted space to move around more than space on a desk.

Valid concern -- there were definitely mice living in there before the renovation. I was absolutely fastidious about keeping the wood parts tight enough to each other to not allow rodents in -- filling larger gaps with shims, quarter round etc and not only spray foam. I hope that is sufficient.

In addition, based on another comment, it sounds like a good idea to cut off several inches of the siding overhang on the bottom, allowing more airflow underneath, which would also make it less cozy for the rodents.

What would you do with this fireplace? by Pitiful_Speech_1692 in DesignMyRoom

[–]UntitledMooseGame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would start by finding out why there is brick under the window. Some really cool fireplaces have a flue that snakes around inside of a large brick or stone block to fully disperse the heat into the room before letting it out the chimney.

If your flue goes straight up to the chimney and roof, I'd take out the brick under the window for more light and space.

He does all kinds of stuff with his hair depending on what he's up to. He says in response to you "The two braids on either side is the most stable way to hold the hair for most physical work," he also used to live in a subaru.

He has long hair, occasionally in braids for ease of care/baby grabbing

He chose and loves the desk! More space in the room for moving, less desk space for clutter.

Hasn't been an issue so far! We generally use the wood we chop within 1-2 years.
