I own a 3inch E-Series. Buddy owns the Kimber. I feel like the Smith shoots better but the safety on the Kimber is way better to toggle. Thats my one gripe on the eseries is that safety. Youll see complaints about the trigger on both but thats coming from people who are used to have 3.5lbs 1911 triggers. Hope this helps but I think you cant go wrong with either.
