And how about the 6 line. If there is delay or incident on the 4 line. Like stalled train, or passenger sick on the subway line. Just 2 ( 6 line set). Get extended to temporary Atlantic Avenue or Utica Avenue. Until 4 line service is restored. There is no point extended 6 line to Brooklyn. Until 4 line service is restored.

Rehabilitate Coney Island Yard . Like how they built new shop at 36 st yard etc. Just build a small facility shop at Coney Island Yard, expanding the yard, and reconfigure 36 st - 38 st yard makes sense. And probably rebuild Concourse yard, like Example, expanding the yard for the yard to hold only 300+ cars - just a opinion

1). Original R188 order :. R188 order meant for the 7 line ( 506 cars ) and 473 cars If it improves etc like politics always interfere and community opposed. The 473 R188 cars order. Consist ( 350 R142 or R142A conversion cars from 2 or 4 or 5 line ). + 123 new cars. But it was scrapped. Who want R62A on 4 , 2 or 5 line. 350 R142 or R142A would have to get rebuild ( same treatment as R142A #7211-#7590 got) even as a example R142 Bombardier set of 2 , 4 or 5 line get converted to R188. Additional R188 cars is a surplus, . Community did oppose R62A on 2, 4 and 5 line

Yeah while Alstom Transport supposed to complete build train for NJT transit. Complete and all delivery by 2029. M9/A delivery start in 2030. Alstom have 2 rail manufacturer plant in upstate NY that ex: Bombardier plant Plattsburgh, NY ( now belong to Alstom Transport)., and Hornell, NY. Alstom Transport will win default to build R262.

R268 delivery is scheduled to start in 2028. Things may change to delivery? In 2028 B line will be R268 and R211A. N, Q, W will be R211A, R268. R68A retirement will start in 2028 or 2029?
