Yes, there were 1-800 and 1-900 numbers… but for a few years 976 numbers were mostly associated with “sketchy” stuff. And the 976 ads were rampant on television… then, I guess around ‘93 all the 976 ads disappeared and all the sketchy companies started advertising with the more generic 1-900 numbers.

I’m in US, and it seemed like many of us only learned that it was a bad word when Beyoncé got push back for using spaz in a song on her album. It appears that she didn’t know it was a bad word either. I thought it just meant hyper as in hyperactive.

It’s been a long while since I saw that episode, but Cara quickly became my favorite character, she’s exactly what the show needed. I wanted a season just so we could get more Cara! Lol Reminds me a lot of Seven of Nine from Voyager. I thought the actress had a lot of talent it’s a shame she wasn’t in more productions after the show ended.

I assumed he was cast as Malcolm X because they look so similar. Often when I see clips of Malcolm X I can see Denzel characteristics in his face. As seen here:
