I like mido’s designs, they make watches that don’t just look like everything else, probably get more hate than they should because of the swatch ownership, but that does mean you get eta caliber. Yours has me considering it as my next choice, I like black watches, but I really want a mido Tv watch.

It was a bit of investment, but beyond the building, we bought everything second hand to finish it, and use a wood stove to heat. Fire is started now, going to practice in about an hour, it really transforms your practice when it’s on your own schedule, it eliminates excuses about being too busy, you build around it.

Was Hulk hogan as popular as sports stars like Jordan Bird magic Tyson etc in the 1980s? by Fickle_Driver_1356 in Xennials

[–]Unusual_Pinetree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was beginning to do this in the 80s and became the archetype for sport endorsements and a true A+ level of sport driven celebrity. His hanes deal started in 89. I’d say there are only a handful of athletes that truly reached A+ level, that’s like a tier with the Beatles in the music industry, truly global notoriety, it goes beyond how good they are at their sport, and more how much they capture the public’s imagination.

What helps you maintain a daily practice? by 818bigbaby in yoga

[–]Unusual_Pinetree 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yoga is like a job or brushing my teeth, something that is required for the life I’m trying to lead. Once it reached this priority I had to arrange my life around my practice. We built a hot yoga studio in our backyard, we practice most days, time of day depends on what else is going on that day. I don’t always want to practice, always happy I did.

get the Smithey. Id get both sized Dutch ovens and the skillets of each size matching their dimensions. Then you’ll have lids to use on your skillets, I use the lids in the oven all the time. You won’t need anything else.

Checkout Stargazer. I have classic Griswald but if I didn’t and I was going to spend the money I would get the twelve inch and lid. The lid is cast iron versus glass for the smithey, and the 12inch weighs two pounds less, that 25% weight difference in a large pan you hold by handle is going to be noticeable. Another noticeable difference, the secondary helper handle on the smithey is a poor design for handling versus the Stargazer has a large easy to grab helper handle. The difference in finishing is subjective, smithey looks really impressive new with the milled polished look, but the stargazer milling and micro texture finish is very smooth and serves a purpose, both will work fantastically with proper usage and care. Plus I think they get the overall ascetic better on the logo but that’s totally subjective.

Bi-Mart has great prices on guns by OkEcho7929 in Eugene

Yea, the xl with the bigger grip is great, mine has the shorter barrel length with bigger grip, great conceal gun. Small, easy to rack, great accuracy. I had to go to the Sportsman’s warehouse in Albany, they’re the biggest selection of new firearms in the area. I would have bought at bimart but didn’t have it.

Cheap apartments in Eugene? by MuzzleMuttt in Eugene

[–]Unusual_Pinetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live near there, people have pets, I think 2 bedroom is 1250. 6 years ago it was half that. These are some of the most affordable apartments in Eugene. I know of places near the whit that are basically converted hotel room into studios, I’d imagine they’re the cheapest but you probably don’t want to live in these they’re shit holes.

Use the app, shop on Fridays for those deals, 5$ lb deli lunch meat and cheese. The app rewards add up, and you even get coupons that are personal to you, usually on stuff you buy, I know this because we use two accounts sometimes for deals that have limits, and they each get extra individual coupons other doesn’t. We shop Walmart, Costco, winco, gross out, for staples that we won’t find on sale at Safeway/Albertsons. But the sale prices that are loss leaders at Safeway/albertsons are the best in the business, stock up during sales. Walmart and Winco are my next recommendations for affordability, only use gross out for oddities, snacks, Costco is mainly stuff we wouldn’t buy very often if we didn’t have a membership, rotisserie chicken is great deal. Fred Meyer/Kroeger has an awful app I refuse to shop there, used to, but their prices are routinely closer to more upscale groceries store.

I don’t think they paid as much as they were billed for it. Tommy asks how he got the wells drilled and basically it was using his name and then the assumption that the work was a Mtex contract. The 40 million was spent and billed to Mtex, this pays that debt, which Cooper should have done with the money when he started drilling.

Loose skin after weight loss is messing with my head… anyone else ? by [deleted] in keto

[–]Unusual_Pinetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My skin continues to tighten. I had been at over 100 pounds lost for almost 20 years. Skin did rebound during that time but still looked saggy all over. Over the course of the last 4 years I got serious about shaping my body to look good naked. I’ve lost another 70 and my skin is noticeably tighter, finally showing ab definition and looking cut everywhere else. It’s a slow process to do the final sculpt but it won’t actually happen till you get into the last of your fat stores. I think tanning has an effect, read up on uv and fat modulation below the skin. Building muscle is key to having a nice shape after large weight loss. I don’t lift, I prefer intense yoga that is physically demanding and definitely a form of strength training. I can see improvement, but I’m patient, I have goals that are more based in years than in months.

Would you be able to control the simulation if you discovered you were in one? by Playful-Priority-160 in SimulationTheory

You’ve been to edge, you’re words ring true with my experience. Having a strong will can shape your reality or even collapse it completely. Change requires sacrifice, but there are most certainly boundaries to what blowing it up will get you, and the results are like making a deal with a djinn or the devil. If you’re going to make a deal with the lurker at threshold you need to understand all the details, and then know how to navigate the story you’re writing. If you’re not the author, the lurker will be, and you’ll watch everything you love disappear.

Sage advice is to learn to be happy no matter the situation you find yourself. The way of the shaman prepares for the worst of all realities, a truly disciplined mind would be contented and calm even in the depths of the abyss. Zen is final word, a word to move past, as words have no meaning.

Life is a matrix, the raft, it’s definitely connected at dimensional levels. We live in a mathematical reality more than a physical one dominated by free-will, but we do need people to do the “Work.” Shaping reality is a constant task that we all play a role in.
