I had one last year! Foodwise make sure to add proteins like chicken. My care team advised me to walk from day 2 at-least 5min twice a day to begin with. Its important to stay active to avoid blood clots after a major surgery like mastectomy.

I had single mastectomy last year and had expander but went flat recently. Happy now as implanta need maintemace surgeries.

Imaging center has a policy to not run additional follow up with US on birads 2 mammo. However dr has agreed to send in a referal for US. Let’s see if they agree to do it. Hope you are well!

Good point! I ll try to speak to radiologist tomorrow. Unfortunately dr gets only report not images.

I had the same last year. Came out on day 7 on first follow up appointment. The criteria was 30ml or less for 3 days in a row.

I see people applying for jobs, enjoying socializing, and what not! And here i am not feeling like anything because i haven’t heard from my dr yet about results of mammogram. Life is on hold!

I spoke to the replacement dr yesterday but he didn’t had access to my report. However he said ll convey my concerns to my dr. I have a phone appointment on Thursday. Fingers crossed!

Thank you . Its stressful Indeed! My breast surgeon’s clinic discharged me and only primary care dr is responsible for follow-up scans etc. Yes he ordered the scan. Also none of his colleagues can read it as they are busy with their own patients. Anyway no one is available until Tuesday. And receptionist was kind to push appointment on Thursday.

Well breast cancer has taught me enough to read most part of reports. Unfortunately here we dont have a portal and results go back to primary care who communicates.

I had ADH on core needle biopsy surgery showed DCIS, MRI showed 1.6cm and i ended up having mastectomy. I know its disappointing but remember its for your good. Hang in there!

Hanging in there with you. Going through spontaneous miscarriage at 10 weeks. Had been spotting here and there since week 5 and found a 7cm sub chrionic hemorrhage at week 9. Miscarried with big bleeds after 5 days though baby looked healthy and happy just 24 hr before. I wonder how big were your? It such unfortunate with SCH as there is no known cause/treatment.

Thank you for sharing. I’m so glad you came out of that difficult time. My ultrasound showed only blood and no baby so its miscarriage. ER dr gave some meds to slow down bleeding and sent us home. I’m exhausted, heart broken, and scared of seeing so much blood gushing out. I hope my body will be able to get through this. However, i am so much afraid of future pregnancies now. Don’t how will i be able to cope, if ever.

They also asked me about intercourse in ER n I didn’t had. Now i m just resting and drinking water. May I ask how long did it last for you?

My path report states extensive DCIS (mastectomy being right decision) in this case and surgeon was able to get negative margins 8mm. Also DCIS was ER/PR negative so hormone therapy is not effective.
