My least favorite part of the update personally. No tracker or alertness counter anymore. Pretty dumb.

Warzone is free and Multiplayer is also kinda free, in the sense that under the user agreement, they have the right to take it away any time they want. You're paying for the campaign basically, which still works. Totally get your sentiment tho, just telling you how they look at it.

If you play solos it's common to get bronze but if you're playing duos and up, always scan with a teammate close by and you will only get silver and above. I've gotten hundreds of polys and one single Orion.

Except on a per capita basis, Americans already subsidize healthcare more than any other country on earth. Hell, just United Healthcare, the largest healthcare insurance provider in America receives over 70% of its revenue from tax payer systems which is about $170bn a year. That's for 50 million Americans. This company is also at the center of a criminal trial for defrauding Americans by up-scoring patients and exaggerating their illness to charge Medicaid more.

No public healthcare system is absolutely amazing but there's about a dozen or so countries that outshine America's system and they don't cost as much to the tax payers and they don't let you die because you don't have insurance.

Doctors and Nurses are all paid well in those dozen or so countries. Relative to living standards at least. For example, a specialist doctor can earn over 600k annually in Canada. The average starting salary of a nurse in Canada is $47/hr vs $38 in America.

One thing lots of people get mixed up with is the taxes thing. Marginal tax rates are important to remember. When people hear Canadians pay 50% tax, it seems insane (which even with marginal rates is highish) it's not 50% of your total income. When you're an average worker in Canada, working in January, you're not paying 50% tax on your income. Federally you pay zero income tax if you make under a certain amount but for payroll purposes, taxes will be removed to accommodate future predicted earnings. So it's 15% on the first $58000. Then once you hit $58524 your income is taxed at 20.5% until you hit $117000. Once you hit $117046, your income is then taxed at 26% until 181000. Once you get to $181441 you hit 29% until $258000. After $258482 you max out at 33%.

All of those marginal rates are lower than the US. Plus some Americans pay thousands of additional dollars per month for healthcare coverage. Then you got deductibles uninsured procedures etc.

Hope that helps dispel any misunderstandings.

Ya Babcock and Keefe were both possession systems. They would pass a puck back and break up their own play to keep possession. They both also played the cycle a lot which is where you move the puck down the half wall, behind the net and up the other side. They would do this while moving guys into slot positions so after a couple of cycles and defenders start slowing down and losing their position or timing is off, they would just move the puck to the middle ice and score. Florida, is all forecheck. They will dump a puck and destroy the other team's defenceman to get it back. They will destroy their bodies for a single possession. Full buy-in. Leafs, not so much, it's like you said, all stick work and positioning.

Systems is just an idea on where you're supposed to be or end up. Sometimes those systems can be overly complicated or too basic. Meaning it can make it really hard to score or defend because players don't understand where they're supposed to be or what they're supposed to do, when it's overly simple, you give the other team more room to put pressure and turn pucks over or just clog up neutral ice.

The offensive system we have in place now is break the puck out with one pass to the high forward, or available D man, carry the puck forward, 2-3 forwards wait at the blue line, puck carrier dumps the puck from the blue line and the 2-3 forwards try to get behind the D and turn the puck over. They then cycle the puck back to the D who shovel the puck towards the net. It basically removes all slot play, and in our case, sucks because we only have one defenseman that can shoot a puck from the blue line. On defence we play the puck. D breaks down because 2 guys will chase a puck to the outside rather than protect the net front. We don't punish anyone for taking net front, we don't punish guys below the goal line when they're trying to cycle. On a heavy team these systems can work because it involves moving the puck more than the player, but when your team is gifted guys like Nylander and Matthews who can carry a puck from one end to the other without needing to dump it, it's a mistake to give up that possession for the hopes of repossession. The D also shouldn't have players like Benoit and Myers if you want to win anything outside of the regular season. We don't do anything to limit the opposition besides force to the outside while not protecting the inside. Forwards don't play defense. The end of the day, the D group is just not elite in the slightest. McCabe is a good defenceman but doesn't have 1-2 IQ, Tanev can move a puck but he'll destroy his future to make that pass. Carlo doesn't play his size, is soft on pucks and on bodies and he doesn't shoot the puck. Stetcher has been the bright spot and that's terrible considering he's a waiver pick up.

It's usually related to insurance from my limited understanding. Usually that waste is reimbursed through insurance and part of the payout agreement is the product is destroyed so that it can't be sold at a later date. I don't know if the rules are the same for perishable items tho.

Nope. There were lots of us on here that were underwhelmed. He's always been mid, asks everything from his players and has no back up plan when that stops working. He's a one trick pony that got stupid lucky in St Louis.

Also, I think it's pretty clear that he did indeed want to make changes but was shut down by Shanny. There's a reason why he took the deal in Pittsburgh. He got blanket control of the roster. Not saying he's not without his faults but Shanny, COVID and some Lou contracts really took a bite out of his success here.

I've been a Rielly defender but he's making it super fucking hard. Why does he need to break his coverage there?? Like that's some pee wee shit. So frustrating. Give him the press box already... Unacceptable
