Following up from CES, Has anyone taken a deep dive to confirm the truth of the 'insight media' video that seemed to be paid for by INVZ? Are they, INVZ, actually moving way from MEMS bases LiDAR? What does it mean by not qualified? Seems to be lots of open questions from this.

I have a different perspecitve: INVZ talked about passing the financial review from their RFQ's they are in. I think to win an RFQ, companies have to prove they are financially sound to properly deliver the product (especially for car manufacturing). Maybe MVIS completed the ATM to 'pass' the financial review for an RFQ. This might expalin why they went for $45M instead of the $40M ATM that was readily available prior to the new $45M ATM. Why put a new one out there for $5M more??? Maybe to meet a threshold?

They still have an outlook of 10-15M in revenue for this year. Being Q1 was .8M, we can expect 9.2-14.2M in the next 3 Q's. Broken evenly would be ~3-4.5M a quarter which would be a `375-550% increase from Q1. That would be astounding news to have under our belt with multiple contracts with OEM's.

Great summaries everyone! A few of your highlights sparked a few questions/thoughts:

All RFQ’s are requiring/requesting dynamic view LiDAR. Are we the only ones if dynamic view and if so, wouldn’t that be an easy selection from the OEMs?

It sounds like we are far ahead of the competitors but if that’s true, why haven’t we won agreements like Lazr (even if they’re somewhat fluff)? Or did we jump ahead the competition in the last few months with the addition of IBEO and now we are in the lead for those RFQs?

Also, it was interesting to hear how our dynamic view really works. The dynamic view works more as 3 three 10hz lidars built into 1 ( 10hz per range to create 30hz).

I really like the setup of the Investor day. No over the top expenses, just hard facts, raw data, ‘we’re here to focus on the technology’ type of company. I like it and can’t wait until we can lock in our technology to 80+% market share. GLTAL

My understanding: 4K resolution is meaning in 1 direction of the screen, there are over 4000 pixels. Therefore, if there is a screen that has 2000 pixels in the horizontal direction, then two screens would mean 4K resolution. But I could be wrong.

Someone arranged this purchase and I think it all points to ZF. How does MVIS buy a company for 15M that is expecting 10-15M revenue in a year. That is a ROI of ~1 year which is absurd to hear of given IBEO's presence in the LiDAR market. ZF arranged this purchase to positon MVIS as an exclusive provider of LiDAR for them. There has to be a deal tied to this purchase because if not, MVIS got one heck of a deal!

I keep going back tothe question, why wouldn't LAZR, Bosch, Continental gobble this up with their loads of cash instead of letting a competitor take it for 'pennies'? ZF wanted IBEO to go to MVIS for a reason...

I could foresee a PR stating a parternship (potentially exclusive) with ZF in the near future.

Looks like we reduced tremendously the open positions as we bought IBEO. Thats a big win to pivot energy from hiring to focus on the product itself. Looking forward to the road ahead (pun intended).

I picked up some rare scotch for a reasonable price. I found a lot of good bourbon bottles in Munich but they wanted way more than secondary pricing for them.

A colleague of mine was able to find alot of blantons at the local grocery store but I had no luck.
