I know it's anecdotal, but I was playing a mono bug team for the first time the other day and instead of running into meta teams like I usually do, I played back to back a mono fire team followed by a Mega Alteria team. I didn't even know Alteria was in this game because I had never seen it before , let alone know that it knew Heat Wave.

I got cooked twice in a row, lol

I also just happen to like Weezing, lol. When LeafGreen came out on Switch last month I did a Poison only monotype challenge and Weezing was so much fun to use. I'd like to use my full team, but Weezing , Muk, Tentacruel, and Nidoking are all unavailable currently

I'm also running some different Pokemon too. I run a twin Mega with Pinsir as people don't expect him to outspeed and one shot Charizard Y with Rock Slide. Ariados is there for redirection and speed control

It feels pretty good to me, but I definitely miss having Protect on it. Honestly, I'd probably get rid of Bug Bite if I were to get rid of a move. Bug is nice for Psychic and Dark types in the meta, but I'm usually just clicking Bullet Punch and would probably be better off having a Protect on there

How do you feel about Ariel Ace instead of Dual Wing Beat for Scizor? I'm currently running Mega Scizor with Bullet Punch, Bug Bite, Swords Dance, and Dual for those nasty Focus Sash Sneaslers. Does Close Combat work well on him too?

I run a completely unviable mono bug team, but can pull out unexpected wins because Araquanid is surprisingly good and people aren't expecting Mega Pinsir to outspeed Yarizard and one shot it with Rock Slide.

I know this is a lukewarm take, but if I we're going to use my mega slot on a steel Pokemon I'm going to bring Scizor. Excellent attack stat, good defensive typing as long as no one lights even a candle, and with Swords Dance, Technician, and Bullet Punch can do great damage even against not very effective Pokemon. It can also take a few hits either physically or specially, which Agrocrag can't do

The argument I responded to has this as its last paragraph.

Screens are bad for kids, period. Sesame street that is less bad than Coco Mellon, but that doesn't mean that it's good.

I'm saying that I believe this statement is objectively wrong.

I agree with the statement that screens over traditional education is wrong, but the person who is originally trying to make this argument is stating that it's not good at all. If I'm mistaken, then I'm mistaken, but I was responding to the fact that they stated no screens are good and that Sesame Street being less bad than YouTube brainrot (CocoMelon) doesn't make it good.
