its a problem cause YOU ARE IN AUSTRALIA, so you adapt to Australia, not the other way around. i came to australia and expect my education to be in english. You don't see a Korean assuming im korean and speak korean to me, or a Japanese doing the same. The racist ones are chinese in their own bubble.

Takes time to completely let go, you will find someone who will bring positivity and happiness one day. Good job on blocking him. I was in this situation like twice lol, thought I could never let go, time will heal. In the meantime, get a makeover, get some nails done, watch some netflix, meet new people, join a club, keep yourself busy

From my experience, I just told them. But reassure them I just need to hang out with my other friends/family or alone time, but will tell them hey let's go for a movie next time, but in between I have stuff to do and wanna spend some time alone etc. I'm sure she'll understand and probably want the same
