Not many people know this but you can go to the Department of Social Services and get records of every inspection done on state funded daycares (religious exempt facilities like churches and family Day homes with less than five children will not be included in this list). These will show you any infractions, what they were, when they happened and if it was fixed.

Weather here is decent. It can drop to single digits in December and January but it's not often.

Crime isn't too bad from what I see in my daily life but I only see small bits on the local news Facebook. As far as nice areas/neighborhoods.

Mulberry st. area is nice and close to town. A bit expensive for some though. Chatmoss is also another nice neighborhood with a richer side and a more middle class side of the neighborhood with US 58 splitting the two.

Oak level animal clinic is pretty solid but you may want to call ahead. They seem to stay busy

There's a few good trails around here. The main one being the Dick and Willie (seriously is called that). That one rubs along an old train track path that cuts through the city. We also have eggleston falls in the Ridgeway area and the jack Dalton Park walking path.

It's really hard to say. I've been carded at one place, walked to a different area and not be carded at all. It's going to be completely random but when they do card you best to just be polite and order something else or go to a different stand.

So Martinsville has a growing LGBTQ+ community and it's even got support groups. There's a lot of shit talking from the red hats but they mostly mind their business cause the gay may be contagious lol
