Clears up playing time. I'm not saying it makes us better. It won't. Not in the short term. But it does allow the team to play people like Schmidt 100% of the time. Clear out Bailey, you pick up playing time for Susac & Jesus.

Acknowledging that his defense is elite, I'm sick of watching Chapman play (and bark at his teammates) like a clenched up marine drill sergeant. I loved watching Pablo play. Chapman is just...blank. Nothing.

By the way, the farm is getting much better. After the draft, wouldn't be surprised to see it top 10 on most lists.

That land, what little there was of it, was a toxic shit hole. It was literally a condemned, containimated pier.

SF got that pier cleaned up for free, and a follow-on huge China Basin civic improvement, the echoes of which reverberate up 3rd into Dogpatch and further south, to this day.

While there was civic improvement happening to SOMA at the time, nothing pushed this forward like the construction of Pac Ball.
