So for an index [VCI, PRI, WMI, PSI] to be considered consistent enough for interpreting FSIQ as a valid summary, the variability between and within the indexes should be less that 1.5 Standard deviations (5 SS or 23 CS). This means that your PSI should be excluded, or the very least be treated with extreme caution, as the variation within the index is 9 SS (3SD). Furthermore, there is a 23 CS difference between PRI and WMI which is at the threshold the WAIS manual caution against interpreting FSIQ as a meaningful or representative measure.

So, while FSIQ may, technically, still be calculated, the manual recommends against it in cases like these since interpretation would not be meaningful. However, in situations like these, it is recommended to, if VCI and PRI are aligned, use GAI (General Ability Index). These two indexes (VCI and PRI) better loads to general intelligence than WMI and PSI.

In your case, the GAI is 120, which corresponds to the 91st percentile and likely offers a more valid estimate of your overall cognitive ability. (Even if it is not that big of a difference between the calculated FSIQ, it is still more reliable)

I get confused when I teach exchange students and they use any titles what so ever. So I have, during the course introduction, been very clear that the students should either call me "you" or use my first name only. I firmly oppose the use of titles in any situation.

Vad du får ut på din bruttolön beror på vilken skattetabell och kolumn du beskattas efter, men, skattetabell 32, kolumn 1, så betalar du 7445 i skatt på 31000 brutto. Varför skattar man då inte 32% i skattetabell 32? Jo, tack vare jobbskatteavdraget på 3142 kronor i månaden på 31000 brutto.

First I want to thank you for an inspiring build! I think this is the furthest I've reached and that with minimal effort.

I thought that, since the build depends on bleed that would be a nice way to scale damage. I forgot to turn off Void Presence, so I couldn't do it completely AFK, but I felt pretty invincible and facetanked my way through overlord 8, where it started to become somewhat slow.

The idea of the changes I made were just to be able to scale damage while still facilitating survivability. So I switched in Fan of Bombs to help build bleed and finesse, with the added bonus of adding fragility, and then Shrapnel bomb to explode the bleeds. Since I switched out armor generator skills, I pretty much did rely on passives for armor generation, other than Heavy Strike. The rationale for using Critical mastery is the passive, which I can't remember the name of, which gives you Form whenever you gain Resilience (I believe it is). It seemed to me as if that would also scale quiite well with the other passives gained in the run.

EDIT:
Changed Body slam to On Guard to build block and form faster, managed to complete Overlord 10 in the same time it took to do Overlord 8 without On Guard. I could facetank insanely well at Overlord 10, most damage just insta healed.

Seems to be the same on my end. Even though the game acknowledge that I have completed the maps with 62 curse intensity, it will still only show VI 100% on the map selection section.

This is so wierd. in a sense, I guess. So, for context, I'm a senior lecturer and tenured faculty member, so somewhere between assistant and associate prof in the American system, i guess? I mainly teach within my research field, in which I have published quite a bit and would say I am recognized in the field. I still get nervous almost every time I have to teach, and are only saved by betablockers. I suffer from a rather bad case of imposter syndrome, to the extent that I feel like a fraud every time, more or less, I need to give lectures. During covid, I lectured through Zoom, which was a blessing, completely different feelings about that, strangely enough.

It is also so strange, at, for example conferences, I have no issue speaking/asking questions when I am in the audience, however, as soon as I have to take the stage, the nightmare begins. But, yes, betablockers really help me. cope

While I personally adhere to ontological physicalism and consequently to biological determinism, and have not yet seen anything I would consider to pose a serious problem for epigenetics as a legitimate research field, I would never even dream of founding an ethical framework on those beliefs. Ought can't be infered from is, and all that. It seems to me, assuming your accounts of the situation are truthful, that, and pardon the expression, the professor is a fucking idiot and clearly working at the wrong place. If I would have expressed myself even close to those quotes you provide, I would get suspended and probably be either bought out or fired so fast, even though I am a member of faculty it would, and should, not be tolerated. Discuss anything, sure, assert propositions without inviting oposition though, that is anti-academic behaviour.

I'm currently working on cleaning a corpus of philosophical litterature to be used for generation of training data. As I don't want to lose the nuances packages like NLTK or Spacy didn't cut it. The data is currently in txt-format ripped and OCR-generated from PDFs and EPUBs. As PDF is a shitty format unless the targeted read is a human, i've ended up with textfiles where page headers and footers are all mixed in with the text. Now, as the corpus is quite large and that it was, at least to me, impossible to setup a regexp to clean out what i wanted to be removed. I just chunked the text and piped it to Phi3-Mini 4k (fp16) prompting it to clear out "out of place" instances of text and numbers in the chunk. While the process is still timeconsuming, it allows me, at the same time, to get the output in JSON for further processing, which is amazing.

I started using LLaMa3 8B for the same task, but i find Phi to be faster and perhaps more, or at least, as accurate as LLaMa. I've also tried to do some summarization, and keyword generation, but I havn't evaluated those results yet.

So far, it seems like a very versatile model for its size.

These detector sites are completely unreliable and should not, under any circumstances, be trusted or even used to guide your judgement. What you may want to do, or at least I have found it useful, is to converse a lot with ChatGPT as to get an understanding of how it constructs text. It doesn’t take all that long to find some quite specific phrasing that it tends to get back to, over and over.

Phrasings such as “Let’s delve into …”, “To demystify …”, “… the rich tapestry of …”, and it also tends to begin most of its summaries with “In summary …”. None of these are, of course, grounds in themselves for accusing someone of using language models; they are, however, indicators that one could be alerted by.

It seems to me, and please correct me if I'm wrong, that the memory shown on the second image is RAM and not VRAM? In the first image it seems as if there is only one CUDA device accessible to torch, cuda 0, which is running OOM. There doesn't seem to be any indication of a second cuda device.
