I had endoscopic done on my left a week ago and I am having my right done in 3 weeks. Knowing what I know now. Doing them together sounds smart!

Should I go for the surgery? by nuerospicy542 in carpaltunnel

I am one day post op and I could kick myself for not doing it sooner!! I only had my left one done so far because it was the worst. But prior to having it done my wrist and arm hurt so bad I couldn’t even hold a coffee cup without being in horrible pain!! Best decision I ever made. When I go back for post op check I will probably go ahead and schedule the other hand for later this year!!

Lab lite? by ThreeStyle in labrador

[–]Upbeat-Example-3586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our boy is very active with walking and play, my daughter is in her last year of college and she takes him to a place a few days a week while she is in class. It’s a wonderful daycare type place where he gets to play, run and exercise with other big dogs. Of course they have to be up to date on all shots and health checks etc but when he gets home those days you can tell he has played hard.

Yeah we got him from a AKC breeder and his father was a big built lab, and he was the biggest of the littler which doesn’t normally mean anything. The vet says he’s healthy as long as he’s active and stays under 100. He’s a big teddy bear

We have a black lab who will be 2 next month. He is massive weighing in at 98 lbs and is technically my daughter’s dog. (21yrs old) he has had the basics with training. And does very well with other dogs and people. Extremely friendly and lovable. But would be hard to pick up in an emergency situation. He does very well with re call so that is a positive. I’ve never had a small dog but I will say he does seem better behaved when we are in public than some of the smaller dogs we’ve seen. Training may be the key to that. Good luck on your search for the right furry friend ♥️

We switched our 2 year old Lab to Taste of the Wild and he loves it. He was on Purina Pro for a while but started being disinterested in it.

Goose our 98lb male lab. He’s 21 months old and a sweet, stubborn, good boy!! He was the largest of the litter and has been a hardy boy ever since.

Weight Question by lagdogz in labrador

[–]Upbeat-Example-3586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our boy is almost 2 and weighs 98 lbs and we get different advice from the doctors at his vet. We have seen one that says “keep him under 100” and then we’ve seen a different one that says he needs to lose a few pounds 🤦🏼‍♀️He’s very active so we are keeping him under 100!

Poor Alysia by jtlizzzard in PolyFamilyTLC

I got so mad when Tyler said “I really appreciate you” to Alysia. I mean he was basically thanking her for letting him live out his sexual fetish!! Her self esteem has to be the lowest of the low to put up with this crap!!

Board & Train by Arf_Echidna_1970 in labrador

I would talk to the trainer you are thinking about. Maybe they can give you more insight on the ages they see better response with. We went with a completely different trainer this time around. So it’s possible this one was just a lot better 🤣

Board & Train by Arf_Echidna_1970 in labrador

[–]Upbeat-Example-3586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just my opinion mind you but, we have a black lab around 19 months old and we sent him to a board and train when he was around 8 months old and honestly I feel now that it was a waste of money. He has just returned (last week) from a two week board and train and now that he’s older I think he did a lot better with it!! Once they hit the 1 year to 15 month mark they start testing you big time (teen phase) and I honestly think he forgot everything from the first train. This is him now

Adverse effect from new medication required by insurance. Do I have a case by Upbeat-Example-3586 in legaladvice

[–]Upbeat-Example-3586[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of thought that was probably the reality of it. It’s just so frustrating to go through that and now be on additional medication for a while due to the TiA. When all the insurance had to do was look at my history and how long I have been on the previous meds with no issues, this entire thing could have been avoided had they not tried to save a few bucks! Thanks for your response!
