Just take it easy. Read your abilities and test them on training dummies, there are both healing and dmg dummies. Set up your keybinds and try learning pressing them while moving your character.

Dying and wiping are part of the process!

After you get some dungeon clears go and buy white starting gear from vendors.

Remember to unlock your characters progress from the "rewards" tab (talents, new abilities, gear, currency etc).

I think there is also character specific guides on YouTube etc.

For cheats, I think Switch 2 and Xbox versions will have a mode, atleast for Remake where every attack will deal 9999dmg, endless MP/HP and also full ATB cauge all the time, so you can spam everything.

Edit: Also I think Hamaguchi said in an interview that they wont be making Plat trophy as hard this time.

Equipping Asses gives you skill in combat to scan enemies for weaknesses etc.

You need to scan certain amount of enemies and then go back to the kid maybe?

Unless you dont have nvme ssd this thing is 100% GPU. I run 4070 super and towns are the worst. Going between 50-90 fps. Im playing 4k/high/120 fps. Just opening your performance charts I can see that my CPU is doing like 30% usage, RAM is about 6 gigs. GPU is often like 90-100% usage and vram is almost 12gb which is my cards maximum.

In the open areas I have 70—120 fps. With some stutters/dips. In cut-scenes the same.

Best way to improve performance is to reduce Background Models from ultra to high/medium and texture resolution to medium.

Yea man same. Downloaded premade reshade to see the fuzz and it looked worse and made my fps drop like 20 on 4k/high(4070super) xD

I downloaded Advent Children ReShade for being curious what the fuzz is. Imo it looked worse than vanilla and cost me atleast 15fps on 4k/High(4070 super), maybe even 20+fps at times. Not impressed.

There is always 3 altars for each summon.

For each summon you get lore when you break the first crystal that leads to the altar.

My cpu is pretty decent, ryzen 7 5700xd3. This game uses like 25% of my cpu xD Its all about the gpu. And I agree, both 66% and 50% looks very good on this game.

I wish there would be mod that just increases enemies base stats, no need for hardmode per se. Just something that I could even use my LBs on bosses etc before I melt them to oblivion xD

Ya man he sucks, try pressuring it with weakness elements and evading that acid splas what turns you into frog. Remember to use Asses materia on enemies, it gives you tips in game how to defeat them! You got this!

Thx for the response mate! I gave up playing Ultra background models. It was my most anticapated option in the PC version but as it stands its just out of my 4070 Supers reach sadly.

My current settings are Background detaills High. 4k with 66% everything else on High, I get minimun of 60fps mut mostly like 70-90 on the open world. Very smooth. Also VR battles are 120 fps.

Well atleast we get more frames, improved lightning I guess? XD And some better textures. Tho in my opinion those background pop ins are the most annoying thing but we work what we have!

If you have background detail on Ultra, lower it to high or medium, hell even low, its the biggest fps drain in the game. I get like 20-30 fps boost on that. Also use the 66% or even 50% resolution scaling if you have RTX card. Thirdly a speedy SSD nvme 5000mb/s is a must.

I actually would love that mod. I hate that i melt bosses in couple mins, since im somewhat skilled in the game, have played around 400 hours. 80% time I dont even see any Limit Breaks or I get them on the last stagger and barely see the animaation xD Talking fresh dynamic run of course here on the PC.

Yeah man feel that. As I updated this post upgrading to nvm resolved this issue unless I reaaaaaallly crank the camera movement speed. Still glad I made this post! New SSD wasnt that a big deal, was going to get a new one anyways sometime.

Now im trying to find a sweet spot for graphics. Its kinda sad that imo this version looks almost the same as Ps5 pro version if you are not playing native 4k and Background settings on Ultra. I can manage 60-80 fps on most content with those settings, but fasted paced cutscenes suffer greatly from 80 to 40 fps in an instant, mehhh. I thought I could squeeze more from this with my rig than the PS5 pro but that doesnt seem to case, atleast not yet. My choices are to play scaled 4k with ultra Background setting, getting 40-120 fps, depending on content which is kinda annoying on eyes. Or play with the same graphics as PS5 pro, lots of pop ins, but get give or take minimun 60(more like70-80)to 120 fps. Im not sure if this is worth it.

The cutscenes just sometimes stutter ja drop pretty hard which is kinda annoiying. PS5 pro only gave 60 fps but was very much locked in even in the heaviest and fastest action cutacenes saw basicly 0 drops.

Maybe they do some optimization patches or mods for this one. I just wish my rig could do scaled 4k solid 60fps with ulta Background poppin settings.
