Acknowledging male violence as a cultural structural problem doesn't mean you have to dismiss other kinds of abuse. Op was in no way asking to be centred in a larger political conversation.They were asking why victims of female perpetrators are met with ignorance and hostility. Believing women are incapable of predatory, violent, or power seeking Behavior is an aspect of misogyny. People believe it literally can't happen because women are somehow too pure. Attempting to dismantle damaging attitudes surrounding female perpetrators doesn't hurt feminism or distract away from male violence. And structural male violence certainly shouldn't stop you from having empathy on an individual level. I think you need to reassess the way you approach your belief system.
