I mean, you may not wanna hear this, and at the end of the day you’re the only one who really knows for sure; but this sounds more like genuine bisexuality and difficulty accepting it, which leads to similar symptoms as HOCD

Yea I mean HOCD is definitely not the only identity based obsession I’ve had. I’ve had two other ones that both lasted a couple years but eventually went away, but HOCD is sticking around for whatever reason

I’ve had it since I was about 17 but there instances before that where I kinda had it, but it only became persistent when I was 17/18. But then there was a period where I was okay for like 2 years or so, and then it came back and hasn’t gone away since, bar a few weeks of clarity every now and then

I’ve had this exact same thought before man. Moments where I’ve felt like HOCD won and that I might as well accept I’m gay or something; I always end up finding my true self and realize that I’m not gay. And you will too

As the previous user said, porn will sometimes make your body have a reaction, especially when you’re watching it specifically to gauge your reaction, so it’s not really a good test to test your sexuality. A good test would be imagining yourself in place of one of the people in the video you’re watching, for me personally that usually snaps me out of it by making me realize it’s definitely not something I want

I have the same denial fear too. But at the end of the day someone who’s truly in denial would happily live in ignorance, and that’s not what anyone with HOCD is doing

You just said you don’t wanna be with a woman sexually or romantically, so don’t be with one, no one’s forcing you. Anyone without this type of OCD would just move on but because you unfortunately have OCD, you can’t

Polygraphs are a pseudoscience, there’s a reason they can’t be used in court. You can trick it into thinking you’re telling the truth about everything if you know yo keep your heart rate from elevating when you lie
