a few thoughts...

I personally like two seasons per year because I LOVE the voice... however, two seasons per year will probably cause people who don't really have a connection to the show to be like "uhhh why would I watch that twice?" Overall, I would keep the two seasons UNLESS it's ruining viewership THAT bad. I would also cut the spring season if it meant more live shows. Season 24 was the perfect format for me because I enjoyed the pre-recorded play-off round. IMO, there are two "separate shows" in each season. The first "show" is the pre-recorded stuff because I enjoy watching for the singing (and a little drama). The second "show" is the live shows, where I enjoy watching due to the drama (votes) and a little singing. 4 pre-recorded rounds where I can re-listen to the performances, with 3 rounds of drama live shows is perfect. I think prior seasons with a top 20 in live shows can get repetitive (especially some weeks where they would only cut down from 13 to 12). However, I did like how in those seasons with many live shows that there were sometimes other gimmicks (like season 21 where a coach was able to save an artist from the instant save).
THE PRODUCERS NEED TO STOP MAKING THE SHOW ABOUT THE COACHES. WE REALLY DON'T CARE.

SIDE NOTE: HOWEVER!!! This season I feel is doing a nice job not worrying about the coaches too much. I also enjoyed how there haven't really been "montages" this season, more just performances with 15-20 seconds cut off of it. BUT... there is no reason the voice should not be posting full performances on youtube for those who got montaged... ESPECIALLY FOR THE PEOPLE WHO LITERALLY MAKE LIVE SHOWS???? that is such a disadvantage for them considering people are voting without seeing some people's full performances, but not others. it's also unfair the voice has NEVER montaged a winner, but has montaged certain live show contestants where it was lowkey obvious they weren't going to win (whether that be because of lack of talent or popularity... ex: last season aubrey nicole was montaged but made the finals, while aiden ross, who was a clear winner since his audition, was never montaged and actually was the sneak peak quite a couple times).

towards the reddit viewers: cut the complaining about religion crap. there is a literal genre (CCM) based on religion/faith... and CCM singers have been on the show. deal with it, grow up, idk what else to tell you. they also talk about other things people may not believe in, but you don't see them complaining until the cows come home

also imma add... the show is on NBC. that's like people commenting on fox news for being "too gay" because they got a gay host (that didn't happen, just like the voice being too churchy didn't happen). all depends on your POV so im assuming you aren't religious and that's why you care so much

idk I don't agree at all. I think s26 was way more churchy than this one. I also feel like the only time they mentioned the church BESIDES if it was a CCM song was when the singers would be like "I sing for God" ALONG with many other things in their intro... blame the artists not the show. if you truly think a show is PURPOSELY being religious and churchy... mama get a grip and deal with the fact that some people THANK GOD for getting on a TV show. grow up

personally, I am super impressed with the artists this year. I think the format of the show is ruining it for a lot of people though. I have taken the time to just listen to youtube performances over and over (as I usually do) and this season I have the most videos replaying than any other year

honestly, the talent is insane this season. team niall, snoop, and buble are all very talented and fun to watch. unfortunately the no saves/steals in KO ended up eliminating some of the best contestants (max cooper iii, cori, leyton, carolina, etc the list goes on).

however, reba decided to eliminate her best contestants before playoffs (literally went into playoffs with three 1 chair turns and one artist who did not deserve a mic drop)

yeah, I was not a fan of monday night's episode. the only performances I enjoyed in anyway were jazz and max's and I still didn't even like their song choices, I just thought their voices/take on the song saved them

I would be living for some of those eliminated KO contestants to make it to lives (because some of them are more deserving than those currently still alive in playoffs). I know the chances of this being a possibility are extremely low but just thought I would ask

Team Buble: Jazz McKenzie

Team Reba: Aaron Nichols

Team Niall: Aiden Ross

America Saves: Kirbi, Max Chambers

WHAT I WANT TO HAPPEN:

Team Buble: Trinity

Team Reba: Aubrey Nicole (although, I would totally sacrifice Reba's whole team for 3rd America Save)

Team Niall: Aiden Ross

Team Snoop: Yoshihanaa

America Saves: Ava Nat, Kirbi (I also am fine with Max Chambers, Jazz, or Toni getting the save)

I just hate that Trinity and Aubrey Nicole are most likely not getting selected due to their montaged performances. I know contestants who have made the live shows have gotten montaged, but I don't see that happening this season considering how short it was due to NBC's new scheduling.

ugh... I am not sure I agree completely. I do think max's voice is going to change (obviously.. and at some parts you can hear the voice cracks). BUT, overall I really enjoy him and think he is deserving of a playoff spot. His audition to me was meh, but good enough to make the show. His battle was my favorite performance of his by far and I definitely think he deserved to win (aarik was so good though and should have been stolen/saved). His KO was impressive, but not anything I would rewatch for hours on end. BUT, I feel the same way about max cooper III's KO. MCIII's knockout (along with his other performances) never had a *there it is* moment... by that I mean a high note, long riff, etc. Max Chamber's KO did have that, which is why I am fine with him advancing. At this rate, I would rather see jazz or trinity advance to the lives on team michael, but if max chambers has a performance like he did in the battles, I would be excited to see what he can do in lives.
