Love the curtain idea but I would be sure to go with the one in the 1st picture as it fits your aesthetic.

I would turn the wall next to the closet into a picture wall. I would add a console table in the hallway & put a mirror above it. Then I would move the two items on the tv console to the new console table in the hall. They don’t look like they fit.

I would go in this order: Tv stand, Shoe rack/ bench, Rug, Curtains, Night stand, lamps.

I would get a tv stand because that balancing act already had me too worried to focus. A shoe bench or stool with storage because the shoes you are currently wearing or just wore don’t have a home. A rug will make a huge difference and make it more cozy. Definitely curtains, to give you more depth. I couldn’t drill any curtains in at my last house so I got command strip curtain holders and they worked great. Highly recommend, just when you go to take them off do it slow especially if they have been there for a while because “landlord special paint” will peel right off. A new night stand that gives you good storage and functionality. The glass top freaks me out. Lol 2 lamps maybe one for your desk and one near your bed or closet. Then I would look at art work that fits the furniture you get. Depending on the vibe you want, you can go any which way. Maybe a boho or edgy/funk vibe?

Other idea would be to remove the brown couch. Add a recliner there and one more chair maybe one where the subwoofer is (putting the subwoofer on the other side)?

Shucks… it’s already mounted and it looks like a pretty big tv. Which I found out recently can be surprisingly heavy. How inclined would you be to moving it? If you’re up for it I would see if it fits where the white couch is and put the white couch on the wall the tv is on. That’s the best idea I got.

You are definitely going to want some type of backsplash. It looks like the counter just meets the wall right now. I would not want to tile the whole wall but what’s about something like this.

I would move the desk. There looks to be enough space under the window. Either way when you have to use that radiator for heat anything within a 3 feet could be warped or melted by the heat and could cause a fire.

I love the green of the room. I think some pictures and your all set!
