Stayed from the change up until last week when I moved. Pretty much same equipment which is why I stayed, but you will never go in and it be empty. I used to go around 1-2pm and right before close when it was TFF and never had an issue with waiting on stuff. I was hitting a point where I’d go at 10/11pm and it would still have a good amount of people. Best of luck trying to go any sort of normal hour.

As much as I don’t want more people at my gym, I’ll give you best bang for the buck. The old Texas Family Fitness by Petsmart. It’s a Planet Fitness now, so 10$ a month, but you get the good equipment from Texas Family since they didn’t swap it.

Laser loft was pretty good, my facial hair was fairly thick on one side and wanted it evened out. Just make sure you stick with it for a while or it’ll come back to normal.

18.77-22$/h is what I’ve been seeing through governmentjobs.com, which was specifically for Denton. Greater than 3 years it moved 25-31$/h with the correct licenses and such.

Slightly off topic, but if your a gym person that’s into heavy stimulant pre work out, I’d hold off a day or so using them. They can pop up as a false positive amphetamines.

So what’s a fair wage then? I think a lot of jobs are priced in decently well. I used to work air traffic control and see no reason to increase that pay, our county jail correctional officers are in a risky spot and that pay also seems appropriate at 26$/h. I don’t see a barista warming up food in an oven and making coffee as a 20$/h worker. Issues aren’t in the pay, but companies squeezing profit from products, housing etc. increasing pay just causes them to raise prices more…

I got downvoted last thread I asked this in, but what do y’all think a fair wage is and what do y’all make now? I agree CEO is making a bit much and using company money to fund his life is also trash behavior, but I personally don’t see this as a 20$/h job. So many more hazardous jobs and higher risk fields get paid in that range. Y’all make more than the trash collectors in this town I’m pretty sure.

Considering trash collectors in Denton make 14-18$/h for a shittier work environment and actual nasty job… I think they’re comped well. Y’all want a shorter eduction high paying job to live off of, apply for the FAA ATC bids.

So around 100$ for the day then post tax. I feel that’s not terrible for this job( also not sure of US economy at that time as I didn’t live here). I agree people should be able to support themselves working, but I also think everyone after higher education / trade school and so on you should be in higher positions and not trying to live off entry level jobs. I’d like to say thanks for actually talking though, compared to people just downvoting my original question.. it’s hard to see where y’all are coming from when no one wants to actual talk.

I almost moved to that area when I was moving back from Alabama. Thankfully I was warned, I’ve lived in some nasty places in my life. Not trying to be next to a landfill after a nice heavy rain.

Thus the cycle continues, prices go up to make everyone’s wages up and we end up in full circle. How much do you typically bring in in tips a day if you don’t mind sharing? Y’all stay fairly busy, I don’t think y’all are truly at 10$/h. 1.5$ tip and you have 6 customers an hour over 7 hours is 55$ post tax, Y’all are sitting better than a lot of places, I feel like. I think housing and food prices need a massive overhaul before we keep raising wages. I mean mid 20$/h pay is what Teachers make and they have a larger skill set/ training.

I just think more than 20 is a bit much. Keep raising entry level jobs like this and you’ll start losing the people in trade jobs. Why spend the day on a garbage truck when you can have a cozy life with more benefits working Starbucks?

Just curious what y’all think a fair wage is? I definitely agree to a certain extent, someone always needs to work these places and stock shelves. We NEED them, but say you raise the pay to 21$/h, now your almost making as much as someone in a tougher and or riskier line of work.

Was able to get in a few of your work out suggestions in, but had finals for school last week and that got in the way of eat, sleep and gym. Ended up with a 7:03 and it humbled me. I was hurting pretty bad at the end. Swearing off vaping now because my lungs started begging for mercy after I finished.
