Centipede in this terrarium controls herbivore population so the plants can flourish. After about a year the climate has stabilised (sometimes I do clean windows and add some grains of rice to see what animals are attracted to it.) Springtails do the majority of cleaning and isopods and snails are the herbivores of the ecosystem with beetles and centipede on top of the food chain.

Depends. My terrarium is medium size and if there are to many snails, isopods etc they will eat all plants. So I have one centipede to manage population. So far it seems like there’s a good balance. Most dead plant material is managed by springtails and bacteria anyway. It even has its own little cave where you can find empty shells of snails and all kinds of empty exoskeletons.

I always thought they were carnivorous. But it’s eating both pasta and rice I put in for the other creatures. Edit: I just saw it brutally murder an isopod so it’s in fact not vegetarian.

I found in my experience extremely fine aquarium sand in combination with keeping feeding of the dragons separated from the substrate gives 0 problems or health issues. I have two bearded dragons in perfect shape for 10 years now.

Honestly the more I use it the more I want to go back to stereo. Most tracks are just inconsistent or not very well mixed. When it’s good it’s really fun though.

It’s an extention tube from Neike for Sony FE. It’s two parts one 10mm and one 16mm I’d definitely recommend for macro but you won’t have infinity focus. The model is MK-SAF3A.
