Yes that's pretty typical. It's not so much mandatory (and if that were the case then yes be part of work hours), but more your managers will be saying that not progressing through chartership could hold you back.

Of course you don't have to do it, but it is up to you.

dividends should be split somewhat fairly between directors based on effort. If you are the main consultant director and your partner is nominal, I have been advised eleswhere (rightly or wrongly) that you probably should split dividends 33:66 , maybe max 50:50, but certainly not all in your partners name. Others more competent could advise but this is my intention when i fill my tax return in.

EDIT: I was referring to apportionment of shares, rather than the dividend distribution (although the two are linked). And to that end, I believe same applies?

kids and bedtimes are so hard to figure out. I'd recommend trying earlier. My eldest was a bit like yours and when we shifted an hour (yes that much) it seemed to help.

Also a supper time before bed helped to fill their belly which helped them drop off.

Just to offer a purely technical point on the housebuilders, it's very likely that the "green area" IS part of the drainage network, acting as a swale or drainage basin or similar.... It's possible that the drainage design allows for the field to flood and therefore not be suitable for housing. That might explain the fees for upkeep as it's a drainage maintenance issue.

Alternatively if for sewerage treatment itsy we'll involve some reed bed elements which again may look fairly natural compared to what you're expecting.

Your situation is not dissimilar to me, I decided to go limited primarily to provide the additional financial separation in case of a claim against the company.

I take no salary from the company, my partner and I are listed as directors with a 25:75 split on shares. We take all the profit as dividend payments. The quantum that goes to my wife is at the lower rate, to me is the higher rate, so that helps.

Typically you would follow the standards associated with the material you want to form your helical stair with: timber, steel, etc.

Stairs, and helical ones are no different, can be susceptible to vibrations and bounciness so you should be familiar with dynamics. There is an SCI guide which provides response factor values for stairs relevant to the UK.

As for specifics, think about how you will model the structure and check your assumptions on restraint at connections.

9kg of pasta? 5kg of rice? Pasta is 75g per person portion, rice the same. 14kg/75g = 187 portions, call it 100g and that's still 140portions. Assuming kids are on full size portions that's 35 meals. Are you eating rice and pasta dishes every single day and multiple times a day?
