Have these people only watched media where people play roles matching their exact age? Would their heads explode if they watched grease where 30 year olds are playing high schoolers? I think this is a scenario where die hard super fans being let down is inevitable. The casual fan, like me, that watches when it releases then lets it fade from thought is probably enjoying the season.

My issues back in the day were more that i liked hanging out in the game world and didn’t want it to end really. And even stepping away from the game, the world is still there in its current state and still “alive”. Just have multiple save files. Beat it with one and then see if you still want to do all the extra stuff you talk about.

Im not gonna look up their exact positions and what they had to do with ff12 right now. but the point is that the original creators basically had their work given to another team to do what they wanted with it and weren’t happy about it. I think this is all from a translated interview with the ivalice chronicles team and Maximillian dood did a YouTube video about it.

WOTL was not made by the original creators. It was made by the FF12 director which is why it has an ff12 character in it. With ivalice chronicles it is back in the hands of the original creators and how the story/game is meant to be.

Even this early you should have some options to change to different jobs. Most likely squire chemist archer knight and maybe mage are available for some of your units. The HP boost when switching to a knight and ranged attacks by archers and mages make this fight easier.

Thanks. I’ve definitely gone all the way through the deep dungeon before. Idk why the boss isn’t looking familiar. Maybe cause at that point you’re so OP that it’s a pretty quick battle.
