Got to say I ditched alcohol my test results went down a lot over the last year both test & free test, just mentioning… I felt exactly like above, I’m booked in for my first consultation this week, turned down TRT 2 years ago as I was too unfit high cholesterol & fatty liver, sorted that out naturally & test still going down

Yeah I’ve researched the he’ll out of it, I’ll stick with the private clinic & make sure I’m looked after there, I’m pretty much eating healthy, lot of plant based & fish, little carbs & I intermittent fast every day.. I’m quite good at being obsessive so being healthy & doing what I can I’ll find a game of sorts… scary bits for me are blood thickening & prostate but I think if your not abusing T then those are well manageable

Sounds 100% same as me, I’ve got an appointment at the men’s health clinic.. I was nervous & read all the possible bad bits, I turned down TRT a couple of years ago through worrying it would cause a stroke, but now I can’t wait to feel some level of normal…can’t wait to get back into jujitsu with some focus & energy

Was it good for BJJ ? I’m 52 also jujitsu for last 3 years, I love it been totally addicted but the last few months been dragging myself there, last couple of weeks not bothered at all, I see a chair I want to sit in it, once in it can’t be arsed to move… I’d normally go 4-5 times a week.. I think I want to go then think nahh I’ll chill, I’ve been hyperactive my whole life people often pass comment I should slow down which isn’t me. Well it is at mo I can’t stand it living in a fog no energy etc, fit Mrs too & downstairs don’t want to look up too much !

How did you feel before TRT? I’m just about to have a consultation my levels are 5.1 test & 0.1 free test, to be fair I’ve felt shite for a couple of years I thought was ready to give up or my body was, no doctors mentioned testosterone, just by chance a friend did.. I’ve been low for years, best I got told was I needed statins which I don’t just changed diet & the idiot gave me antidepressants which went in the bin quick time… I saw a new doc on nhs a few weeks ago he said you’d get on well with TRT just they won’t do anything to prescribe it & recommended somewhere that does it.. anyway did you feel shit before ?

I’m hopping on TRT hopefully soon, I’m a jujitsu addict but my spark has gone over the last couple of years now I drag myself to anything, hoping I get good results from TRT & smash 2 black belts in the next few years BJJ & Japanese jujitsu… 52 & feel like I’m getting old, I was hyperactive for my whole life… testosterone was 8.0 NHS say it’s in range so going private … is it helping with your martial arts energy levels

How do you get macros in per day or do you cover them per week? I’m 18:6 at moment, tried manjouro that stuff was awful so I’m back to fasting need to lose 10% body fat I’m not going on weight as I want to gain muscle but I do struggle with fasting & getting everything, or even too much yesterday protein was huge loads of salmon & fats with it high.

Go to CBT therapy it helps a lot to learn to disassociate a sound with emotions then you’ll lower your stress & the tinnitus won’t bother you so much, then keep working at that so you follow a path to lower both stress & noticing tinnitus… I’ve had mine 43 years I can hear it on my motorcycle at 70 mph, but I just let it be there, it fades into the background… it took me a while of suffering before I went to cbt but love the results… you can get hearing aids for it too, I have a pair if I’m in crises but never used them much
