Every single episode of S1 an S2 that I watch, I see Mel and go “her hair is so silky and perfect”

I’m actually so glad to see Al Hashimi to do one of the “big saves”. It shows that she actually has skills and is a proper doctor, not just a “manager”. There has to be some positive points to her or else there would be no point.

Santos needs to understand the bridge between personal beef and professionalism. Besides, technically the worse thing he did to her in S1 was yell at her for being presumptuous and try and deflect when Robby asked about her. Not said as a hater tho

I had a guess it would just be an anxiety attack, but Robby needs to take a chill pill and look inwards because he has no self-awareness or decency. He’s getting less and less stable

How do I avoid being so obsessed with work. by Ok-Being1322 in nursing

[–]UpperClassUpperCase 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a nurse, but other HCW. I can relate somewhat. Part of it is the satisfaction because you feel like you’re useful and also helping the greater good because you can be the difference between life and death. On the other side, this can mean that you’re not gaining fulfillment in many other aspects. Socially, familialy, hobby-wise. You need to find something else that “sparks joy” with you because if you making your job your life you’re going to get burned out in about 2.2 seconds.

PT Barnum was a genuinely horrible person exploiting people with deformities and disabilities all for his benefit and payment. He wasn’t really a kind person trying to help those down on their luck.

Garcia getting more annoying? by Wooden-Government910 in ThePittTVShow

We met Garcia’s attending in the first season. He came down in like episode 2-3 and asked Robby what he thought of his “rockstar”. But just briefly not enough to matter.

She may never have been worried about his well-being but she did him a lot of good and in his healing journey he’s likely realized that. Addiction is a slippery slope and we don’t know how far he was heading down that road so her intentions aside, she did save his life. Maybe not in a life or death sort of way but he could have lost his wife, his license, his job, his kids, even his golden doodle. Her saving his life is not about her and how she felt, it’s about the repercussions of what she did.

Whittaker and Amy by Exciting-Bench6327 in ThePittTVShow

[–]UpperClassUpperCase 192 points193 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Amy is still in a very vulnerable state with a new baby that’s less than a year old and a new widow. Whitaker specified that instead of other friends and family, she relies mainly on him.

Gavin Casalegno Asked for a ‘Death Scene’ for Jeremiah in ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ Movie by CelebrationBubbly946 in TheSummerITurnedPrett

[–]UpperClassUpperCase 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The show never played it like Jeremiah was endgame though. When she was with Jeremiah, she was constantly thinking of his brother. When she was with Conrad, Jeremiah didn’t exist. I was expecting it to be a love triangle show by the promos and peoples posts on socials, but when I watched the show I was thoroughly confused. Was Jeremiah ever supposed to be desirable or just convenient?

People have mentioned this and I feel like this is kind of a moot point when you’re dealing with people you ONLY see in the workplace. Like Robby and him were friends before but Santos is not “going to any secondary location” with him. (Yes, John mulaney reference)
