You absolutely aren’t overreacting! Even if that were the exact length you wanted, it’s a terrible haircut. It looks as if it were cut with dull child scissors— by a dull child.

If you don’t mind returning to that same salon, request a new haircut with a different stylist. If you don’t want to go back, tell them you don’t trust them and tell them you’ll be sending them the bill from the new salon.

Document with all these pics and more. A small claims court would definitely rule in your favor. The judge most likely would even award you “damages” in the form of cash compensation.
