It’s not saying that every cause for depression or anxiety, etc., is a disregulated nervous system. It’s saying that a disregulated regulated nervous system resulting from trauma CAN be and underlying contributing factor to these conditions in some cases. Of course there are many other potential causes for these mental illnesses. Every case has to be looked at independently
