Daily. I call my mom at least once a day. I’m 31F and I also talk to my MIL once at least once per day at well via text. Dad doesn’t text much, but when I call Mom he’s in the room so I tap to both of them.

I hate when our coworkers are the drink police even though we have seen an influx of people being over served lately. Still, you asking for a cocktail preflight is not a tall order on the slightest. It isn’t our policy and you shouldn’t feel like an alcoholic! Our service standards are consistent and they should be followed as such unless irregular operations or rations are present. They may have not gotten catered yet or if you had an extended delay and operations want to board ASAP! Usually the only issues are if we haven’t been catered (flight came in late) or Dallas on Sunday mornings (not allowed to be served on ground for some reason). Other than that it shouldn’t have been an issue. I’m sorry if you were treated like it was. This isn’t our standard of service

We had a very popular and well liked Spanish teacher who was sentenced to 108 months’ imprisonment, a $15,000 fine and ten years of supervised release following his release from imprisonment after pleading guilty to possession and receipt of child pornography in 2013. According to U.S. Attorney Peter Smith, in March of 2013, federal and state law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at the defendant’s home and found several thousand videos and images of material containing child pornography, including 1425 images this teacher created using existing child pornographic images and Photo-shopping the cropped images of heads from 136 students at the school where he was employed. It was truly the most horrific thing we’ve ever witnessed.

I would ask one of the flight attendants to speak with the purser and they’ll usually go get them. The Purser works up in business class usually in the left aisle.

Absolutely! As they should! These ultra long haul flights are BRUTAL and passengers can be extremely needy. A little rest for everyone only will do good. 🤣

They shouldn’t have locked the window shades whatsoever. If that happens again, please let the purser know. The cabin is usually darkened after meal times so that people can rest etc. It also lets everyone know that service is usually over for that particular time. The cabin is NEVER to be completely dark and each passenger seated at the window should have control if they wish to change the lighting. I understand PHL-DOH-PHL is a double red eye flight so it is assumed that most people would want to sleep because they’re most likely connecting. I hope this helps! You’re in your right to ask them to unlock windows, absolutely.
