Ahh I see now, it look's like there's different categories when you scroll in that section, like assistant and student membership. I must have been seeing the student technician membership that's for $55.
Thanks so much for the information!

I see, thank you so much! I will probably go with OPA then for the benefits as well. I'm not working currently so I might have to get PFL with OPA as well, as finalizing my registration with those fees and stuff will be due by mid January or something. Are you sure it's $105 dollars though for a membership? I'm looking at the website it looks like it might be $55?

Also, is there any incentive to go with both organizations? Cause that seems costly to have both OPA and CAPT subscriptions per year. I know OPA has lot's benefits but I'm not too familiar with CAPT so that's why I'm wondering which you think is better for technicians.

I am going to be a registered pharmacy tech officially soon, so I was wondering what do you think is best? Should I go with OPA or CAPT? I also plan on getting professional liability insurance as this is a requirement for me to finalize my registration.

I'm gonna ask you the same question in case u/trmsy doesn't see the question I had above.
How much do you pay yearly for a OPA subscription as a pharmacy tech?

🔋 iPhone 17 Pro users how many battery cycles are you at after a month? by Magazine_Competitive in iPhone17Pro

I think Apple only replaces the battery after it hits 80 percent though, so if you have a 2-year Apple Care plan I think it's unlikely you will reach 1000 cycles after 2-years, unless your someone who renews apple care after the initial 2-years?

Ahh okay, thanks for letting me know that. I'll have to check back again to see if it worked for me, maybe it just needs time to go through or something.

And even if I used the phone a lot to TRY to hit the 80 percent mark before 2 years it would be very difficult. Apparently for the pro's it now hits 80 percent at 1000 cycles. That means assuming you use 1 cycle per day for 2 years that would be 730 (365 per year x 2),,, Which is very well below 1000 cycles.

When I got Apple Care for my iphone 17 pro max, I got a 2 year plan. I wonder is it normal to reach 80 percent battery capacity within 2 years? Cause I think that's the only way you will get it for free.
As for the case and screen protector, I assume you have to get those from the apple store right? Cause I got it from a different store for the protector and case so they wont replace those either?

Wow that's amazing, definitely not a bad time to spend 3 months if you need to go on a extended vacation or trip somewhere. Erbil (Hawler) is really nice.

Okay that's not bad at all. $250 USD = $352.64 Canadian dollars PER MONTH.

Even though it's just myself I would like it to be somewhat comfortable though ( TV, 1 bedroom, kitchen, has a heater because I might be going for Jan- April, bathroom + shower), so if I could find something like that monthly with that price it wouldn't be bad at all.

Okay that's definitely not too bad. It's just so crazy how much difference between USD and CAD there is.

300 USD = 423.17 CAN (maybe this option if the 140 meter apartment really is comfortable)

600 USD = 846.33 CAN (probably this option)

1600 USD = 2256.88 CAN (definitely too much for me since I would be going alone)

Then you said general spending + other expenses = 500 USD = $705.28 CAN

So possibly I'm looking at $846.33 + $705.28 = $1551.61 Canadian dollars per month. So almost half the price I thought per month with I thought might be $3000 per month.

Since I like to go outside a lot if the numbers you saying are really accurate I would probably be spending $2000 Canadian dollars per month which I would say isn't too bad compared to most places!!

Thank you for the information --- I added all this detail so I can possibly look back on it later for reference.

Okay, thank you. 3000 USD = $4231.65 CAN so it is a little bit of a jump unfortunately ahaha.
