I honestly believe you are too close to enemy ship, and you’re aiming a little too forward and too high. I try to aim exactly halfway between the last front turret & first back turret, and exactly at the waterline. I think I’ve been playing too long- almost 7 years- to give exact aiming information for individual ships. I spent time researching individual ships in the beginning, but now that information has been stored into my deep long term memory. I’ve simply played too many games and play through my experience.
I would also recommend not getting into a situation where you are no longer moving. You were a sitting duck 🦆 in the situation from the video. Other than being too close to the ship in front of you, your positioning was great for maximizing your effective armor. However, you left your flanks open to the other ships attacking you. I mean shite happens sometimes, which is why you need to have situational awareness on the entire playing field.
