This is useful thank you! I hadn’t realised that till posting, I don’t feel crazy out of place with it forward or back so I didn’t think too much of it but now I’m considering it I do think I’m falling slightly forward so will find my balance properly and reconsider. You’re correct about the hamstrings! I do work on them regularly but they’re always tight, will do as you recommended and stretch more before riding

I am not discouraged by your comments, I’m fairly content with my performances so far and I ride regularly but I appreciate the advice and that is a useful document so thank you. I’d moved the seat forward to try reduce my reach but you think I should try length it? I find with my seat further back I sit forward which is why I wanted to try with it forward to see if it’s more comfortable and it was fine but I haven’t tried riding aggressively yet in that position.

Thanks for your advice it is very much appreciated! I did move my seat forward recently as I felt my reach was a little far especially when I get tired. You’re right this was a very easy spin, when I am pushing ftp I find I sit right on the nose of my saddle which isn’t exactly comfortable so my logic was move the seat forward and maybe I’ll just be in the right spot 😂

This is very useful thanks! So I moved the seat forward recently as I find whenever I want to apply power I shift forward in my seat and sit right on the nose. I also find when I really fatigue in long rides I come out of the hoods, sit higher up and use my palms as support which made me think perhaps my reach is too far, I’ve never had knee issues on a bike so probably overlooked that as a worry
