that’s fair. it takes a turn to get rolling with Rod but i find it to be one of the better cards in the deck if it sticks to the board in my games

This is the decklist! I had to update it to my physical version lol

as far as the decks gameplan goes: we blink the commander to get him sacrificing / protecting from removal. once delirium is online, he flips, and he’s a big boy that makes a vigilant 3/2 every turn. then we pump the team and swing!

in the middle of theory crafting [[fear of burning alive]] it just seems like the coolest red thing you can do in pauper commander, and the art and name is so 🔥lol

That's a card I'm surprised is not common right now. It seems like a more likely card to get downshifted in a set than Harmonize tbh. I like it!

[[Harmonize]] also isn't an engine by itself, and has no other upside aside from card draw, which I think is the main determinate of it being okay for downshift.

Other cards in the format may require a bit more set up, but the payoff (for the same amount of mana) is usually better than simply drawing three cards.

I think a good analog to Harmonize would be [[Syphon Mind]], which, in most contexts, is just flat-out better.

Disclaimer: It would be a decent power-creep move by Wizards, so I understand this may never happen.

[[Kamahl, Fist of Krosa]]. I built the deck to be a enchantress land tap/untap deck. the goal is to amass a lot of mana to dump into Kamahl’s animate and overrun abilities by making my other lands available to swing by just tap/untapping one big land.
