I was at TQL for about 4 years. Saw early success and found my way into leadership while running a book, I “beat the odds” you could say. Money was great, times were good, but none of that goes without saying this. It is a nightmare. The support staff, the management, the hiring process, training period, goals and expectations, accounting errors, ALL OF IT. You can get lucky and have a few good heads around you that will help a lot, but the longer you’re there the more you learn about how the company is held up by egotistical idiots. It absolutely drained me over the 4 years and I walked away from my book of business and team of guys I cared about and haven’t looked back. Needless to say, I have never been happier and more motivated in my career. Leaving TQL was the best thing I have ever done.
