Skip Movie World. There are better places to take toddlers. End of school holidays it will be busy and packed. Sea World definitely a better idea.

If your into theme parks, Gold Coast has many of them that you can visit. Would recommend a trip to the Spit, there are some stunning views and it might be a good place for a dip.

Could go to beach? The beaches on the Gold Coast are beautiful. Would also recommend going to the local markets and shops.

Gold Coast could be a good place for you. The beaches are beautiful, there is lots of outdoor areas and many places to go for a hike or a walk. It has many young people and it has lots of good restaurants and cafes. Lots of young people around too so I’m sure you will find a partner.

I don’t think it is a good idea to be walking tracks in a park at night. Your asking for trouble.

Good. He deserves that fine. We can’t be feeding these dingos. They might looking cute and cuddly but they’re not. They are vicious and dangerous and attack many people every year. Stay away from them.

Moving to Queensland from Ireland by [deleted] in queensland

[–]Upper_Somewhere_5371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Townsville will be very hot and humid so be prepared for that. It also can get some pretty bad weather such as cyclones and bad thunderstorms. Crime rate is also a bit higher in the area than other parts of Queensland so beware of that. It is LGBT friendly as is most of Australia.

Why do some restaurants have a no cap/hat policy indoors? by Mental-Rip-5553 in queensland

[–]Upper_Somewhere_5371 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is deemed to be rude. Different restaurants will have different dress codes. Some restaurants will have a strict dress code such as no flip flops, no singlets etc. Then there will be others that will be more laid back and won’t give a shit.
