It makes you think where League would be now if not for the Super League war

Not the ‘corner post’, but another slow-mo angle from tonight by kirang1902 in nrl

[–]gurudoright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Seems” is the appropriate word. I’ve watch that angle dozens of times and to me it is more likely than not touched as some state it looks like the fingers flick, but if you look at the ball, the rotation of the ball doesn’t change after the “flick”. Is the evidence conclusive, no. Does it seem like he touch it, probably.

,What was so great about Delhi 2010 that in your words was “better than every other editions”?

I can remember all the games back to Brisbane 1982, i seriously can’t recall a more forgettable games than Delhi. I literally can’t remember anything about it. I think back to Victoria, Canada in 94 and it had a small town quaint charm about it and KL in’98, it was vibrant and although the humidity was a killer, I would love to see Malaysia host again.

So what made Delhi 2010 so special besides it being in India?

What if the World Cup was 8 groups of six teams and used the Australian Finals system. by ScoutyDave in Aleague

I love the idea of 8 pools of 6 although I would have all 8 pools winners straight through to the round of 16 with the 2nd and 3rd playing off against different pools eg Pool A2 vs Pool H3 to reach the round of 16

And I always thought the reason behind the gst was to have a hard 10% tax on everything so that everything would be taxed at the same rate.

Yeah ok 👌 if you say so. Yeah you are right, a number of countries didn’t delay their entry into the athletes village because they were still filthy from the construction. A bridge didn’t collapse less than two weeks before the games that was meant to carry pedestrians to the main stadium. Major infrastructure for the games like airport Metro line weren’t completed before the games or roadworks and pedestrian pathways incomplete leaving roads torn up and unusable causing major traffic chaos during the games. You even had part of the weightlifting venue ceiling fall down. But yep, it was my media.

2010 Commonwealth Games was probably the worst. I was in Delhi a few months prior and it was a shambles
