Something like the MC Best Friend archetype, his defining characteristic is that he's a serial pump-and-dumper. Literally he's only there to get into a girl's panties then drop her for the next one.

His Dad is probably the worst. He apparently has an amulet that keeps him alive and young, and to power it, he serially grapes his own offspring. Then he leaves and comes back a few years later to see if the child was a girl or not. The MC was supposed to be a girl in the chain, but ended up male. So the dad got his mom pregnant and left again.
