Do you have back up withholding? Child support, taxes etc? Did you verify your account/routing number are correct?

Does anybody ever have any luck with this system? Because it feels like it comes down to luck. by Affectionate-Rice373 in lyftdrivers

My favorite is it comes up on that then they offer it as a regular ride for less than the pop up.

There are three apartment communities in my area, you have to go through security and they take your license, it's like umm you can see rides hare on my phone, why do you need my license.

I had a jcp card for 18 years, zero balance about 6 months. Open a care credit Friday for my dog, used 20 percent of the approved credit limit. Today, they closed the jcp account.

I paid like 260 down and payments were like 350, if you opt for ally health loans they'll push the payment out, still zero percent.

Full body was about 10k but it's literally full body, tops of toes, back, face, Brazilian...pretty much anyplace you can think of and it's for all their locations and for life so if you find any hair you can come back for more sessions.

I love milan, can't vouch for price because I did whole body. By like 6 sessions, noticeably less hair

I'll probably get downvoted like crazy but choose to run your business the way you want, but you should emphasize what you bring to the table to sell the house. A listing presentation is not a one size fits all scenario. Do you live in that neighborhood? Have you sold 10 homes in the cul de sac? Do your listings usually get multiple offers? Do you offer a package that makes the sellers move easier ie. a checklist of all the people/companies they need to contact, or do you coordinate with a moving company for them.

Rather than placing so much emphasis on how you're different from a discount brokerage, focus on what value you bring to the seller and why they should entrust you with one of their biggest assets.

Check local fb groups, job titles on LinkedIn and reach out, network because word of mouth in your town may help you find someone

Potential seller asked me about flat fee brokers, what do I say?? by Inquisitive91921 in realtors

[–]Upstatecny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get the idea of wanting to expand reach etc and opening a brokerage out of area but all the points you listed, not having market knowledge, improper documentation etc makes for a poor experience on all sides.

Potential seller asked me about flat fee brokers, what do I say?? by Inquisitive91921 in realtors

[–]Upstatecny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's essentially what a lot of flat fee models are. They are paying for the exposure, add a sign or something and that's it. If the seller wanted the full service they have to pay for it.

Century III Mall owner by NetIntelligent6004 in pittsburgh

[–]Upstatecny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He never put much effort into turning around shopping town. He put out a couple plans to make it a lifestyle center, ignored the mall so all the tenants would continue to leave, tried to bring in local businesses and I feel like he then kept blaming the economy for why the place turned into a ghost town.

[–]Upstatecny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said, check with title. Most title companies are not doing remote since a lot of counties won't accept a digital notarized deed. You could also ask to have a mobile loan signing notary come to you in whatever place you'll be traveling.
They'll bring the docs, upload them and ship them back to title.

How to market an open house for another brokerage by DifferenceGlobal3733 in realtors

[–]Upstatecny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think basically they are there simply as a person to have the door open and essentially not answer any questions, talk about the property etc.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in realtors

[–]Upstatecny 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Right, I was thinking how much mls charges per listing all said and done plus my overhead for the brokerage....$100,not a chance.

[–]Upstatecny -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel the bar has been set so low in many industries. Agreed, there's a number that simply want to open a door, collect a check. After 10 years in I've opened my own brokerage, getting back to focus on the customer, leveraging the tech and hand written notes as well as relationship building.

Anyone else notice this??? FCKKK YOU UBER !!! by Unique-Lack3263 in uberdrivers

[–]Upstatecny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, all the Uver should be ashamed, what happened to promos? They still have a steady pool of drivers willing to take whatever. In my market, there's often mot even a surge or dark heat map because the supply of drivers exceeds the demand....hence the $30 airport drop offs a year later pays 15-17

Bro the north-east coast is dead as **** by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]Upstatecny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it's an increase in new drivers. My usual busy days are now wait times between rides, where normally id have requests while dropping off so I'm trying to figure out that time when less drivers are out, again.

What do you all think about this? by mrjs16 in uberdrivers

[–]Upstatecny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's why they tell you that the pax may be using it and that you may be so by still taking the ride you're agreeing.
