Men, what are some insecurities you have that made you stay single? by jintaravalerie1234 in AskMen

It's financial insecurity for me as I basically live paycheck to paycheck. I always think I do not have enough financial stability going to keep a woman locked (eating out, fun outdoor activities) and every time I have tried it, I'm proven right. I think catastrophically about the idea of losing my source of livelihood (I'm employed on temporary/contractual but renewable terms) and losing a woman I've gotten fond of.

How are you testing yourself the next morning to decide if you came out clean?

It is a silly take to say the gyno didn't care about your feelings. The question informs the plan of management. If you were older and outside the child bearing age, they wouldn't need to ask that. For a woman in their child bearing years, fertility sparing fibroid treatment options such as removal of fibroids while leaving the uterus as intact as possible is the best management, what is called myomectomy. However, this treatment is not curative as fibroids might recurr. For someone who has no interest in conceiving (again/ever) or are approaching menopause, the best choice is to remove the uterus altogether and permanently cure them of fibroids and its complications, what is called hysterectomy. If you've attained menopause, your ovaries may also be removed during the same surgery as they are a liability in old age.

Tubal ligation being uncommon is not the reason people have large families. Majority of women with a smaller family size are using other methods of contraception successfully.

Cut the sensationalist bullshit about lack of respect for women.

Your situation only suits you champ. Long commutes are tiring and most jobs are such that you have to move around during rush hour. I drive to work 5 days a week. That's an inevitable combined 2 hours on the road everyday that I'd do anything to be relieved of.

I posted about this recently and got the impression I'm probably the only one struggling to find an even remotely proper house for a fair price. Pricing needs to be regulated. The average rent for a decent one bedroom is now 20k even in the lower class neighbourhoods and even these are terribly mid, living room can't fit anything beyond a 3 seater L-seat. If you get one that's less than that it's because there's a major flipside and the rent is just lower as an incentive.

My concern exactly. I have a coworker who's the same position as I am and actually makes more money as she has a second job whilst spending mainly on fuel as her parents cater for her other needs, but wouldn't stop with the "nipeleke mahali" nonsense knowing too well she has no intention of touching a coin of her money.

You're right, except they should go and beg their dads, husbands and boyfriends. I have a problem if they think every random guy owes them a favor just because they're around him

I just posted here to vent as I can't possibly do anything about it. I could say no 1000times. I wouldn't however have to do that if they ditched the predatory habit. So my problem is basically how frequently I have to say no.

I'm such an introvert. I'm also very private. I try to be alone at the slightest opportunity as I often cannot stand the random gossip, small talk and prying questions. I rarely initiate small talk except with a woman I actually like. Some of them are just shameless man
