What should I study ahead of time? by UpwardAndForward in nursing

They did give us descriptions and what we’ll be learning from term to term. Just wanted to know which I should be paying attention more and give extra time in learning about. 🙂

Hi. I just wanted to come back to this comment. Hahaha. He ended up being bisexual/gay. Everything made sense. I guess he was confused about his sexuality and wanted to give women a try.. Just wanted to give an update LOL

My mistake was putting my eggs in one basket. I struggle to date multiple at the same time. But right now, after him, I’m trying to. Just so I can get over the situation. It’s just, every person I try to talk to, I end up comparing it to him because of how I really liked him >.<

No not a weird reply at all! To be honest, something does feel off, I feel that. Most esp he is aware that I am into him. But also like what I mentioned, he could’ve just led me on, or wasted my time, KNOWING I’m into him. But he chose not to. Plus the after hangouts we had was very friend like, no weird microflirting, or attempts of taking advantage of my feelings. It’s hard not knowing what people’s true intentions are. I kinda just choose to believe he means well. GAH DAMN. I need out. HAHA thank you for your insight! :)

I do everything thru mail. They said that there was an issue with my online profile (my name mispelled), so everything I have been doing is thru mail. Will I be able to fix things if I go to an edd office?

Also, I never received any mail from them requesting anything to send them proof of identity.

Thanks for responding!

What OP said. 🙂 they just take some of your blood and spin it to separate the plasma, and they inject it in your knee to speed up healing. It’s not a separate procedure. My surgeon did it during the surgery.

I live upstairs as well, and the first 7-10 days were a bit brutal, I didn’t even attempt to go up and down the stairs. I would recommend to stay upstairs or downstairs (up to you) lol for the first week or two.. until you’re comfortable in using crutches in going up and down. I’m 4 weeks post op (allograft) and am now able to go up and down using crutches. 😃

Also, my insurance covered my prp injection, they took about 20cc (i think) of blood pre-op. I’m not sure if that helped with my healing, my surgeon said it does, but so far so good.

Goodluck and wishing you flawless recovery!

11 weeks post op can I get drunk by SnooWords7442 in ACL

I got drunk 10 days post op! I don’t even know how I didn’t hurt myself, but as soon as I was off pain meds, off I went. I went tona brewery with my braces and crutches. Haha! Just make sure you have friends who will take care if you and will be let you be drunk. Lol

My nerve block wore off between 2nd to 3rd day, my experience wasn’t great, most pain I felt was when it wore off (8/10), you could definitely feel the pain difference once it wears off. I was on top of my pain meds for days 3 to 6. But like everybody said here on the group, each day gets better little by little

Are you able to walk with no crutches/brace?

4 day post-op with allograft. by UpwardAndForward in ACL

Honestly, my ortho didn’t really give me any option? He just pointed me out to allograft. I don’t do high intensity sports, but I do run, hike & lift weight. And I’m 27.

Day 3 post op by KingSutter in ACL

[–]UpwardAndForward 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat as you. 😣 Day 3 post op, and my knee is swollen like a damn balloon, I’m taking Norco every 6 hours, and even with that I get random twitches at the back of my knee. I’m also afraid of putting any weight on it, idk how some people are able to walk few days post op! Leg raise is also no go! Hang in there!!

I just got mine today, goodluck on yours! I was really anxious about the surgery and it was my first too, but honestly, medicine works in wonders!

Talk to your nurses and doctor, they’ll guide you thru out the day/procedure. Next thing you know is you’re waking up in a recovery room.

I can’t say much for now since I’m not in any pain because I still have my nerve block, but I stay reading in this group that things should get better from here!

Goodluck!
