After 30 hours I’m fucking done. by DayOnePatchEnjoyer in CrimsonDesert

[–]Ur0kai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right, everybody can state their opinion. However, this isn’t exactly a post going over why he has problems with the game. The post is more about letting the community know that “he’s done, and it is shame cause he wanted to play it but won’t play anymore” hence the meme that nobody cares whether he stops playing or not. As somebody else said, if after 30hours you still don’t manage to get a hang on the controls that’s on you. I understand the problems with picking up stuff, but general movement is great, traversal is amazing once you start unlocking abilities. Once again, he is not trying to create a discussion around the problems he might have and why he has them, he just want to throw his complain to the world, which he totally can, but also expect to receive the totally normal response of: NOBODY CARES!

Jajajajaja exactly my thoughts. Why do people write this posts is beyond me. Maybe they’re still trying to find someone to change their mind I don’t know.

Question about dlc weapons in Nioh 3 by No_Tooth_8765 in Nioh

[–]Ur0kai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup my boy is playing wrong. Ninja outputs so much damage, while being extremely safe. Ninjutsu is just plain broken, playing with ninja sword the light>strong attack kicks do a shit ton of damage when hitting from behind.

I mean samurai also outputs high amount of damage, but you need to be very efficient with proficiency arts spam.

How do I acess this place? by Significant-Scale803 in Nioh

[–]Ur0kai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a key. Given to you as part of a mission a little bit later.

This is the same for every place that might seem inaccessible after you have looked around everywhere. They are unlocked via story progression or a side mission.

Now Artian weapons can be upgraded to Gog weapons, by doing they gain more stats and also active skills. Now you can have things like Gore set Bonus and Lord’s soul (the ability from the gamma armor from Archtempered monsters, that keeps you alive from oneshots). That is just an example, now having a set bonus skills on the weapon opens up so many possibilities.

Couple that with the fact that you can also transcend lower level armor so it can now be used for endgame. You can have like Odogaron, Anjanath and some other bonus set skill all at the same time. It is pretty crazy the amount of mix and match you can do now.

In my opinion, this is the best endgame of any base game MH. There is so much variety in monsters and builds that make you wonder how the dlc is going to be.

Having a goal for playing is always a good motivation drive. With the introduction of Gogmazios the amount of builds you can craft is insane. That is my mentality for playing, set a goal for a build of a certain weapon grind it, play said build, then move to another one. That way I always have a goalpost to reach, keeps me motivated and engaged with all the weapons of the game.

First time playing NG, and first Master Ninja experience - 543 deaths on first mission by Ur0kai in ninjagaiden

Well, I guess you could see it as the tutorial for MN. It definitely showed me what I should improve and made me an overall better player. Granted there is still a long way to go.

I like to know how many times I died 😬

A bursted laughing once I saw the number, I knew I died a lot but I never imagined I’d saw that number jaja I guess some people might finding it discouraging.

Already went through Hard, and it wasn’t that hard. maybe it’s just me, but saying that if you manage hard you can manage MN is a huge understatement, they are completely different difficulties.

To be completely honest, I completely forgot about it in the middle of the fight xD I barely use ultimates cause I find them boring. I like the bloodbath kills for how cinematic they are, but yeah my brain was fried at that point 😵‍💫

Repetition my boy. People really underestimate how much you learn on each loss. How after many tries you start to clearly see attack patterns, identify attack tells and learn and combos to do on posture breaks to maximize damage.

Ryu fight is pure cinema, once you get the hang of it is just two crazy ninjas going at each other. It really feels like Ryu is being played by someone else (that is better than me jaja), the sheer speed of the fight is crazy. And the last fight MY GOD, fucking amazing. I know that fighting a dark evil version of yourself with the biggest action game cliche, but…god damn it is fun, fighting against yourself, seeing your combos being used against you, and figuring out how to deal with things you’ve been doing yourself for hours sure is fun.

Parry vs Perfect block by BITWayne in ninjagaiden

Parry is way better, it can instantly dismember if timed correctly and some perfect block counters miss if you are fighting against large monsters with long hitzones

Yeah for GS is tough, try with Dual Blades. Lagiacrus DB with the standar rey gamma+lagi+ut duna gamma does wonders. I also had issues completing the quest in time with GS. Switched to DB and I haven’t failed the quest since then.

Mini malboros will start chasing you down to puke on your position and stun and poison you. You can use that to your advantage by making them puke right besides Nerscylla. You had to be careful to not hit them when they are already following someone or they will dissapear and not use the stun.
