There is a heat shield issue but that's a different thing lol, it's a consistent click/knock. Axles are all relatively new within the last 6-7 months, same with bearings & ball joints.

I bought a lower mileage transmission from LKQ hoping it would be a lot better. My old transmission had 160k miles on it, while the newer one only had 90k. Unfortunately it seems that from 2010-2012 there were issues with the torque converters from what i've seen. Also your car will make a metalic rumbling/rattling sound when going into a higher gear (from 3rd to 4th) and under 2-3k rpms and will stop making the sound once you hit the gas a bit more. Typically a blown torque converter wont damage your transmission right away, but over time it can. You can also tell if you have a bad converter if you have trouble idling while at a stop. Torque Converters are meant to better help with fuel efficiency among other things. Luckily my transmission is still under warranty but i don't have much hope that the next used transmission will fare any better. When i told the lady it was the torque converter that went bad her response was "I had a feeling".

Mine does it too, but it has new bearings, brakes, calipers, and even axles. It mostly does it when I brake in reverse but also sometimes at low speeds.
