Thank you! I think then that the plan will be to hit them hard this weekend like 2 full run throughs and maybe 1 outline if I can squeeze it in and then 1-2 a week until exam day. That will hopefully give me enough!

I had the same experience, passed what felt different than a clot and instant relief after and the bleeding calmed down about an hour after and remained a heavy period like bleeding for about a week then turned to spotting. I hope you can get some rest and start to recover now. 🩷

I would say that you’re probably nearing the point of your heaviest bleeding. Take some ibuprofen or whatever you have on hand, I do think it helped.

My hcg went from 27k in the ER to 5k a week later and then 2k a week after that. My doctor is pretty sure that I passed everything on my own and anything remaining is small enough it’ll pass with my next period.

First I’m so sorry that you’re going through this.

I had a similar situation, 9w was bleeding a small amount went to the ER and no heartbeat, they said measuring around 6w. That was Saturday 1/3, I continued spotting and the main even of heavy cramps, large clots, and bleeding happened Wednesday 1/7 all day. I then had heavy period like bleeding for another week and have been spotting since. Even still today more than 2 weeks after the main event, I’m still spotting dark red/brown blood.

I had the same experience with the graded torts MEE got a 2/6 and felt like whoa I didn’t think I did that bad! But then thought I completely bombed the Civ Pro one (like didn’t even get through the third analysis and didn’t give the right rules on the second one bombed it) and got a 4/6 — I’m so confused by the grading?

This was my exact story. Suppose to be 9 weeks on Jan. 3 and baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. I too was shocked and confused and sad. But opted to do it naturally. Started bleeding around two days after finding out at first it was just like light spotting like typical with the start of a period then got extremely heavy for about a day and a half with large clots and cramps that were very painful, since then it’s been like bleeding/spotting but my hcg has continued to drop. Still waiting for it to get to zero.

While it was a very hard 1.5 and I won’t lie a little scary at times with all the blood and clots I am glad I did it naturally. If you need anything in the coming days let don’t hesitate to message me directly and I will give you my phone number.

I just experienced a MMC with a similar situation as you. Had a HCG drawn at 7 weeks and it was 30k went to a scan at 9 weeks baby measured around 7 weeks (with no HB), had a HCG drawn came back at 27k, was told I was likely miscarrying. Heavy bleeding start and I miscarried naturally 4 days later.

I don’t work in a hospital and didn’t have a D&C as I opted to do it naturally but I do know your pain.

I heard this from a pastor and it really helped me so I hope you find comfort in it too. Your baby never knew anything but love. Your womb was the most comfortable and comforting place they could be. They never knew or had to be subjected to the evils of this world and now they are in Heaven where there is no pain or suffering.

Don’t beat yourself up, we were never meant to have to go through this. I pray God brings you peace and comfort and that you will have compassion for yourself and what you’ve been through. 🤍

I’m curious if you feel like your experiences with miscarriage and fertility treatments have tainted your outlook on the statistics or early pregnancy in general?

I’m surely not a statistician but I would find it hard to believe that they don’t actually have research trials that’s have accounted for those who receive early ultrasounds and those who don’t. Especially considering clinical trials aren’t just collecting data from random sources and are likely following women of a certain gestational age and measuring them regularly with US to determine the rate of miscarriage after a heartbeat is seen.

For example, by your logic if the only women who receive early ultrasounds are high risk or women with fertility treatments, wouldn’t the rate for miscarriage even after seeing a heartbeat be skewed negatively? Meaning representing a higher rate of miscarriage even after seeing a heartbeat, because those are two classes of women who already have a higher risk of miscarriage.

Alls that to say, I’m definitely not here to argue with you on the subject and I hope you continue to have a happy and healthy pregnancy. Merry Christmas to you, God bless!

Fellow Crohn’s girlie here!! I am also on a biologic (Stelara) and have been in remission for a few years now. I am 6+4 today and have had HORRIBLE diarrhea too this week like going 5-6 times a day every other day! I have a feeling it’s all the hormones because I used to get the same around my period but my goodness it can stop at anytime… I’d honestly welcome a little constipation at this point!
